Not true, who needs a settop blu-ray player when you can use powerdvd on your pc. If you're obtaining the disc images illegally anyway this cuts out the cost of the player AND the $20 blank blu-ray discs. It'd be interesting to see if sony has even yet made back all the R&D money they laid...
