For people who like big mice and thumb buttons (think intellimouse explorer 3.0, and mx1000) this mouse is great.
Easy to bind, responsive, comfortable- a great mouse.
I've had one for 6 months now.
The only way I could improve it would be by adding a third mouse button.
2 of my favourite debates - accurate scoring in games, and strategy vs tactics.
The really key question here is how is the camping sniper affecting your team's ability to complete it's objectives?
If you have good tactics you will be able to find a reliable and elegant way of taking him out...
The way I see it, the only way that AMD can be 50% faster is if they have pulled off reverse multithreading.
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/feature/1730197/itll-sandy-bridge-bulldozer-2011
Through that a single threaded game could well get a a 50% performance boost.
Interesting...
I have green and red stripes too
S3 Virge
An ATI rage
Matrox Mystique ! Oh the fun I had with the drivers.
Geforce 3 Ti 200
ATI X800Pro
Nvidia 8800GT
ATI 5870
I probably had others as well, but those are the main ones. I tend to get a graphics card one year and a new processor...

It's a really nice mouse. Ifyou like the intellimouse 3.0 shape of mouse, this is of that ilk.
The only thing that would make it better would be a third thumb button, but apart from that I can't fault it.
It's about gaming. Working with photography, it's valid that there's no difference between 60 and 75 on an LCD, when there would be on a CRT.
When gaming, the higher the framerate the better your ability to correctly track fast moving things. It therefore also depends on the game and if you...
A Filco brown and a Kone[+]. The macros on the kone sort all the multimedia stuff like volume controls etc. I've got no qualms about recommending this setup.
I loved my intellimouse 3.0, which is a fairly chunky mouse. I moved from there to the logitech mx1000 which was another very good mouse.
THe successor in this mouse shape is the roccat kone +. Wonderful tracking, a really responsive and accurate feel, and a good sset of macro features...
Just been reading- the L20 is a pretty rubbish pump. Size is not an issue, and I'm happy so spend to get quality kit.
So the way I'm thinking now - I need to upsize my tubing, need new barbas all round and need a new CPU block that will accept bigger barbs.
So - decent barbs
-Decent CPU...
One useful thing is to have the res at the highest point whenever possible. This allows the trapped bubbles all to collect there in the first week of use.
Easiest way to do that with this design is to put a few bricks under the case's front edge for a few days.
I've been using a waterchill tripple rad watercooling kit now for at least 5 yrs. It's outlived 3 processors and 3 graphics cards. (not that any of those 6 broke, they just got old....)
Anyway I'm about to rebuild my system - basically building the PC into a desk, and breaking it out of...
Oh dear Ihave a problem. I think the black widow is a perfect keyboard - but it's a bit ugly in the flesh....
What's the difference between tactile and linear?
And don't say optimus.....
My old mx 3100 is gettign tatty, and a replacement sounds like a plan.
So I'm looking for a decent gaming keyboard.
Must not drop keypresses at all. Ideally would allow macros, and an LCD is a bonus, but less important that utter relibility, repsonsiveness...
Using the quicksettings app on my galaxy S it was easy to disable APN on the phone.
So when I went abroad I could be doubly safe that no 3g data connection could be established.
So what exactly does the mode button do - is this the Central button beneath the scroll wheel. What buttons can it reconfigure, and what macros does the mouse allow?
And does this mean that there is no Right or left gesture available in the scrollwheel itself?
Also we've got the DPI...
I'm looking for a new mouse - and am wondering if this one would be a nice rpelacemetn for my trusty old mx1000.
I really like thumb buttons - the mx 1000 has 3.
Does this have 4 (2 buttons and 2 from the up down side scrolling wheel)
How many real binds do you have on this mouse.
On my...
The neuropsychologyists did not use fast paced FPS's in their testing methodology - perhaps they should. Gamers know that the scientists are wrong on this one.
Right on digging, the answer to why killer wrote his setings as he did is that the Dell settings with a 187mhz pixel clock can't...
Right. I'm a novice here, but on messing with this inf...

Seems a stunning tutorial.
I'll have a play to see if I can create a 75 inf.
EK waterblock.
Lovely and quiet - if you want quiet, water is the best way.
If you do get a new block, it's critical that they cool the voltage regulator propperly. They often overheat on a 5870
I've been buying cheap and graphics card for a while (in terms of brands I mean)
So If I was going to plump for a new 470 card, then at that price, you would want perhaps a better build quality - but i might be putting a waterblock on it.
So which manufacturers(if any) allow aftermarket...
If you are lucky, then wireless really is fine. But the same model of mouse can have different ways of communicating wirelessly - ony RF is good enough for gaming -- bluetooth is inherently laggy.
I've got an mx1000, and there's no lag. I played loads of unreal tournament 2004, which is very...
My MX1000 mouse flaked out - same cause of death as my lovely old Microsoft Explorer 3.0a - worn out microswitch on the overused thumb button.
Logitech sent me a new one, and told me to bin the old one. I love my mx1000.
yep, I formally retract that post (as I was earlier corrected, that prad review is false since the discrepancy in multiples of 10 is a bug.)
I've gone to the 2209WA myself since! I can't get it to game at 75hz tho - if you could post a how to on that, it woulr be most appreciated 10e. I...

Too much input lag in the 2443 for my tastes.
The general consensus I thought with 24" that nothing really beats the aging benqs when it comes to lag.
There is a lot to be said for gaming at 1650x1050. It's 24% less taxing on your graphics card than 1920x1200.
P.S. Niello - Which plant? :p
p.p.s I ordered mine yesterday and am looking at this forum with it now (UK)

We don't know enough about samsung to know if it's a good gaming monitor.
Surely the main thing about it is that it's LED backlit, rather than anything else.
Well that's me taken the plunge. My trusty old neovo f-419, P-MVA should have been replaced a long way back.
I've been looking at monitros for some time. I can't justify going for the price of 120hz right now. 75hz seems good enough for me.
So with luck I'll have my 2209WA tomorrow.
