Creative Sound Blaster Z Initial Impression

Hey guys, Yep Reaper12, and Nielo_TM are both right. The Recon3D chip was designed to be incredibly flexible (and power efficient). In the "Post DirectAudio" world we wanted to have a chip that could run our algorithms regardless of platform and be easily deployed in both PCIe and USB solutions...

Hey there Skylit, my names Ryan Schlieper and I'm the PM for the Audio products at Creative / Sound Blaster here in the states. This does indeed sound like something was off with the card you received. To confirm what others are saying the Z series base line is not equipped with the Nichicon...

Creative World of Warcraft Wireless Headset Review @ [H]

Actually I missed this one. In most cases you are right. Especially when you're talking about sound products. We're hoping our line changes peoples minds on that and makes everyone else play by a new set of rules and expectations of what "gaming class" sound means.

I'm in shock... the difference is great! (X-Fi vs. Onboard AC97)

I know I'm biased here being a Creative employee and all. But the X-Fi is just an awesome piece of hardware. Always cool to see peoples responses to the X-Fi in action...especially when compared to MoBo solutions. You really just don't know what you are missing. Kinda like taking cotton...

Some clarification on the Fatal1ty Professional Series Headset from Creative

osirus35: Without a doubt we're in the range of some tremendous products from other companies. The trick is being able to include a mic AND the drivers in the ears to deliver sound + communication. That's normally where you get hung up at. We have some others in the lineup that are...
