i have only been able to use MX red, and browns out of the two, i like reds more than the browns. i could be biased not using the browns for very long though.

i have a CX750m, i dont have the loud fan problems you do. i would look into a corsair RMA. Sounds like the fan may be failing.

currently running a samsung 840 120gb(non pro) for my boot, and bf4 drive. all my steam games go on my 1TB WD Blue, which is about half full of games.

it all comes down to self control, and managing gaming and real life time. Although getting married soon will severely cut down my gaming time(unless i can get the wife, to start pc gaming) and im prepared for that day.

yeah this monitor isnt worth the markup for gsync, i will wait until prices fall on gsync monitors before taking the plunge.

i dont buy brand new games(60$) very often, although i did grab wildstar in the the beginning of july, and having fun playing it.

ill probably check this game out when it launches, although ive never been a huge fan of free to play mmo's.

i played gw2 for a few months at launch, quit and havent looked back. Something about it never pulled me in and kept me playing.

i also agree, if the package says a specific wattage, the psu should deliver on that wattage.

i picked up a refurbished Lenovo y500 about 5 months ago on e bay. Specs i7 3630qm 8gb ram 650m 1080p paid 600 back then. could pick one up even cheaper now.

i play normal for just about everything, mouse/Kb and controller. Inverted just feels unnatural to me

it would play league of legends very well. i agree its overkill, but it would be a good laptop.

seems creative leaves alot to be desired in terms of quality, i like wtourist suggestion of T-amp, and bookshelf speakers, im using a similar setup and cannot see myself going back to a 2.1. If 2.1 is your thing its a little over your budget but the corsair SP2500 seem decent.

my lenovo y500 is not bad to carry around campus, its around 5.5 pounds.

i completely agree about how pc people despise cod, Hawken is good enough for most people that enjoy mech games. i personally do not feel that pc gaming is dying, we pc people just have different taste in games.
