I live not too far from one of their datacenters and the experience is great. If you're within one or two hundred miles of their datacenters then I think it's worth it. Otherwise the input lag is enough that you won't want to play more twitchy games like FPS's.

$1500 is for the "Explorer Edition" which is only available to developers. Developers will get these prototypes over a year ahead of the consumer release (early 2013. Consumers can buy Glass in 2014) to see what ideas they can come up with. The consumer edition will be much more affordable.

On an ASUS UL30VT laptop with 1.3 GHz Core 2 Duo and GeForce G210M, Dota 2 on the auto recommended settings runs about the same as LoL.

The Vizio one is okay but the Pandigital one will make you very frustrated with its terrible user experience.

Used the Skyrocket today and I can easily say that the Exynos variants of the SGS2 are noticeably faster/smoother.

I ended up buying the U2312HM from an eBay seller for around $240. Couldn't really justify the extra $70 for the U2412M and the 2312's input lag is one of the best according to reviews which is nice.

So tempted. Is any place offering the U2412M for ~$300 again?

Do you keep your computer on 24/7? If I keep my computer on for too long my card will start acting funny. I just shut down for the night every couple days and my card will work perfectly. Otherwise, it'll have crazy artifacts in the web browser, games will crash, my computer will randomly...

I use FXAA with 4x MSAA along with the sharpen mod on SkyrimNexus. It makes the game sharp but still have very smooth edges. Almost no jaggies at all, it's pretty amazing.
