since you have an asus, it is likely runng at 16x 1x 1x for the other ports. I know my asus board run that as default for all my x16 pci slots. I had to go into the bios to switch it out so that my more of a 8x 4x 4x setup on board.

I got to check this out. I use Mymovies for the data and the artwork and the information but it always been slow as poo just to do basic editing too. sigh. I have a dune, So i use zappiti to run on my player, but when you do individual drives, i still use mymovies. sigh.

I was using a 30gb HDD a year ago. And then i migrated to My Server which only needed it for the OS. But since i turn my Server into my normal PC, it is just sitting around with my server OS. :)

Very True. I cost me 8 dollar a pieces. But They are pretty awesome, They have groves that allow me to stack them. And the 2.5 HDD holder just made it double better for me. But ya. to each his own.
