it is somewhat expected. with a 2nd gen ipod touch, 4.0 is just a little tough to run. and they probably have features that are constantly sucking battery life. With the old OS, i can get about 10 hours on the web, instead of 2.

i called them and they gave a very clear answer. your contract period is with verizon only so it doesn't matter what plans you have with them, you can change it all you want. and you will not be charged to activate your phone with them to the new plan. it sounds pretty resonable.

it seems taht all of them are increased by surcharges and taxes. but still it's getting a little unreasonable and i could save some money by switching to a new plan.
