5760x1200 3x26"
Nothing crazy....My taskbars auto-hide the middle one is only open because i moused over it before the screenshot to add perspective.
I think i am going to mess around with this setup to tweak it a little.....But i dunno what to do quite yet. I have a lot of space to fill.
its been said what it is....i love it.
Not noisey at all....my case is big, and it might have 12 fans in it but its not that loud. I am not picky because i have music playing at all times. Or watching tv.
I have a fan controller so they arn't all going 100% either
I have a DLP and i love it. For the price i paid (i work for a big blue retailer so i didn't pay retail) it was a 61" DLP or a 40" lcd entry level LCD.
I chose the DLP, and with games, movies, anything i love it.
But a pioneer plasma is as good as it gets....PERIOD. Well as far as 60"ers...
I have HD cable and most channels are in 1080i....and then my tv de-interlaces into 1080p.
Cable will be 1080i for a very long time, but with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD you can get higher res.....which isn't that noticeable for me. But using it as a huge computer monitor....it's CRITICAL!!
Please excuse the mess.....firstly i don't care to keep things 100% perfect, but i am about 2 weeks from moving from my apt to a house, and i am packing and i have stuff literally EVERYWHERE!! I am stacking, organizing and getting everything set as much as possible on this end....because it's...
I just got 3x25.5" Samsungs and i have my 61" dlp hooked up right next to them.....
I will take some snapshots of this setup, now i need to find buyers for my 2x 22"ers
7680x1200 is insanity.....But good insanity.
I bought a couple N42's....Damn you, i can't know about crazy things and not own them. These are cheap....and it took every ounce of wisdom my 25yr old body could muster not to order two of the N52's (5" diam 2" thick) just to see what it could crush.
But then i realized that once i saw it...
thanks....i am looking around it right now....
I am curious how to get a hold of someone who would know about warranty info. I could call Apple.....but that's always a hassle.
I am looking for something like this.....

I didn't even realize dell had machines like this. I just thought it would be bad-ass to have ghostflames all over a 17" MBP or something. However i am curious of a couple things. Be warned i dont know...
I already jumped 2 things from this......i thought i had to wait till monday. i checked to make sure they had everything today so i could order at midnight tonight.
Thank god i can't read a calander, good stuff quicker.....
*Sorry wallet!!
When it comes to HDD's i dont f*ck around.....
I saw that and thought you guys would love to know. Like always it turns into a "lets try to find a cashier not paying attention so i can use a coupon that isn't valid" conversation like always......It always makes me regret giving peeps the...
The pants kill me....I hate not being fat. I wear a 32x34 to a 34x36 and i can't ever find my pants in stores. I haven't looked for pants in years without seeing 44x30 or even occationally 50x30.
44x30? that is outfuckingragious that you can find those pants and not 32x34. Apparently people...
Everyone lately seems to want to RAID-0 drives, which i have never done before, and i wanted to give it a go. however i need two pieces of advice......
I am going to RAID-0 two Raptor X drives with my onboard chipset (680i) and i wanted to use one of my 300GB drives to back it up. What...
Really....what about the 890? I know this supports RF....maybe there is a small RF box or something that is bundled with it. But my understanding is full RF from the remote straight outta the box.
All new Dynex networking hardware is re branded Belken.
Some Dynex stuff sucks ass but some are actually good. (dynex batteries actually last longer then standard Energizer and Duracell....i was surprised too)
You are lucky.....Lightroom is slow as hell. I imported 54,000 and its SSSLLLOOOOWWWW. Maybe it's my computer, maybe its the program, i dont know.
Picasa with all 230,000+ feels a ton faster then lightroom with only 54,000. I know lightroom pulls up a lot more info from the EXIF which is...
I need to send a TON of info to someone.....30 DVD's sucks because of the burn time. but it sure beats having to spend 50x the money on an external hdd that i will never see again.
its like 6 down, he is asking about hosting uncomressed files.
the person linked him to 4k video shooting (aka 4 times 1080p res settings) and they might be able to help. I looked around and couldn't find anything that linked to something that would allow this. Sorry, nobody was posting...
THe problem is that most sites don't want to host giant pictures.
you have to look specifically for a site that doesn't have limits.
there is a thread around here with a link to sites that don't scale and even allow uncompressed formats like tiff and raw.
I'll look into this too....
All these programs handle a lot of pictures but when i try to get them to scan all of my pictures it all goes to hell.
Picasa2 allows me to a nearly instant view of what i am looking for searching. if i type in canon or nikon it will pull up thousands within...
I have used the bridge in CS3. I never really gave it a chance i guess.... I didn't like it and i rarely use it. i found it to be kinda clunky for what i need. It can do a million things that i dont care about, and struggled with things i wanted. So i gave up on it.
I will look into it...
THis goes out to those who shoot a ton of pics, use photoshop, and have a ton of pictures.
I have roughly 230,000 and my computer isn't organized. I have them in seperate folders that worked when each only had 200-2000 but shot of creating a ton of folders for each thing i would prefer a way...
I broke the power connection pins off of my drive. The power connection from the psu was a bit tight and i am a bit stupid sometimes.
quick painless rma, easy replacement.
Sorry to hear about WD
the only drive i have ever had fail was the one i broke.....(Knock on wood) and i have 10...
I just e-mailed evga about this with that same motherboard.....there is nothing that i can find that supports this, so be careful.
and as for 8GB, i mess around with things and i need it for HD video editing. I use photoshop and i can't imagine that photoshop will be upset about having lots...
How do i disable onboard sound?? I looked around and couldn't find anything.
I loosened ram timings and ran mem test al various ram speeds to make sure this wasn't the issue......because this problem SCREAMS ram problems. I increased voltage to what it should be. I am rocking 5-5-5-15 at...
Chk disk on all drives is clean, drivers for everything should be updated. Well atleast as of 2months ago. I could recheck i guess.
I guess i could pull my sound card. the sucky part is that it takes days to show up sometimes and so if this is the fix, i might not know it for a long...
Events look clean. NOthing that stands out to me, but i am by no means an expert at things like that.
Bios is updated
I've tryed just one drive and it does it goes goofy after a while. I think its a mem leak from a program or something stupid like that.
it usually just reboots.....it hasn't BSOD'd in quite a while. those may not be related because of how infrequent they are, but they happen. I think they are related to my sound card.
I know, tell me about it......
i guess thats what i am bascially asking, how to tell when something is using the resources in a way that i can't tell from what i have looked at so far.
Yeah a reboot usually solves the problems, i can open any program i want.
1. All power saving is off, i dont like that shit anyway.
2. My computer is always on, so i dont know. Yeah it happens after my comp has been on, but sometimes it will be days or weeks and sometimes only a couple...
