I heard that Microsoft is making it show 4GB with SP1 although it is really not 4Gb free, HP, DELL, and others were tired of all the calls from customers about it not showing up, so Microsoft helped them out.:mad:

Yes, I have Dial-up(sucks horribly, makes me consider suicide) It does show 4GB in the BIOS. I did the BCDEDIT / Set PAE Forceenable. It did not work, so now how do I remove the line, or is it OK to leave it?? I would really like to remove it though

OK, I just put two new 2GB sticks in my laptop for a total of 4GB. Under Computer properties, it is showing 2302MB. I have Vista Home Basic 32-bit, I know the Graphics(Radeon 1100) uses 256mb, but should it not still give me at least 3 useable and showing up??

I have an Acer 1642 and it runs pretty cool, this thing gets hot as he!! though. I have one , as does my wife, but mine gets hotter than hers. Will I void the warranty if I open it up and put some thermal past, instead of tape on it?? thanks for your help!!

Hold tight a few weeks, I m getting good at airbrushing, I might do your mouse for free. I am trying to find the best paint for a mouse that will hold up to constant touching.

Krylon Fusion spray paint. You must sand , sand sand, prime, sand, sand, sand, then paint thin coats and then clear. It took me three hours to get it done,, yes, 3!! It takes some patience and paint know-how or you can really mes it up. The mouse itself is no joy to get back together either!
