I'm very happy about my purchase, i have had the monitor 3 weeks and no problems what so ever.
I bought mine in Norway, i know a few others that have bought the same monitor and none of them have the issues mentioned earlier in the thread.
I cant seem to decide between these 2 monitors, i will be using the monitor mainly for 2D gaming PC and PS3, but having the option for a superior 3D experience is tempting, are the colors and image really that much better on the samsung compared to the asus in 2D?
I would like to know this as well, is anyone here from Europe that has the monitor?
Nice support from Asus now though, showing up on a non official forum :)
well atm im using a BenQ FP241W with my PC/360/ps3,but im not quite happy with the quality, its the old version without the 1:1 pixel ratio, havent really followed the monitor news since i got this 1 over 1 year and 4 months ago,is there a new king of 24"?or is this still the best you can get...
imo change the PSU to seasonic S12 PSU,and replace the mobo with a cheaper 1 (gigabyte ds3 for example),and get a nother gig of ram insted, cant see why you need a 220 bucks mobo with that setup.
a new 8800gts card is just around the corner,i would wait for that if i was you,its under 300bucks.
im suprized the PC SP genere is still so popular, after onlineplay become popular i cant see my self sitting alone playing vs computers, but these games still do so well while thier MP support sucks donkey balls.
WoW isnt the first game that has an expansion,WoW isnt the first game with monthly fees,i dont see why ppl make such a big fuss over stuff like this,if you want to play games without monthly fees your stuck with crapy servers, bad support (i know WoW`s support isnt that great).
and...
dont think ive played any megaman games for the SNES,but loved those that were avl for the NES,mario, zelda and megaman series were the best games avl on the NES imo.
i actualy got annoyed that it went back to black, was more easy on the eyes having the soft white background,it should be an option tbh, cause black background on an LCD that doesnt disaply blacks very well is annoying.
hmmm dont quite know what to reply to that post, first of all you seem to answer all your questions, second of all, blizzard arent the first to make an expansion pack to a MMORPG,and they arent the first to charge for it ither, and what does that have to do with greed? lets see, most wow players play...
games these days are damn buggy that`s for sure,my first VERY buggy game was SiN,i couldnt beat the game cause of a damn bug even, since then its only been getting worst,i understand why ppl prefer consoles hehe.
my hard earned cash doesnt go to the companies that rush half finished buggy...
hehe,i was mainly away from my gaming rig for a year (new gf,didnt spend much time at home).
it gets over eventualy,at least if where you are have some intresting things to do,family games or card games usually do the trick tho:)
hmm guess it depends what it can offer in the terms of gameplay that BF cant offer,at least thats it for me,wont bother shelling out 50bucks for a game that offers exactly the same with a diffrent packaging.
boxes i throw,i do keep cd/dvd covers tho,you never know when you wanna go back to a game, and if i dont keep the games in thier cases i prolly wont find em again:)
hmm well i liked oblivion (at least for 20 hours of gameplay).
didnt like dark messiah of might and magic much tho, single player shooters gets boring fast these days, oblivion is about exploration, and taking your time to read, talk, discover places/ppl/items etc...
so i guess it really...
used to be console gaming in the good old NES/SNES days, but after that era ended its been PC gaming for me,there arent many released console games that keep me intrested for more then 1 hour these days, and since i mainly play MP games, except for a good SP RPG game here and there...a comp fits...
