Grats on the display. I use my old 17" sony as a second display and its amazing how much better this display is when u drag an application from the old one to the new VX2025WM. Colors, contrast, and the speed are supurb.
Ur gonna have fun when it arrives. :D
If the image is in a table in on the page, make it the background. Just make sure you copy and paste the size of the image into the <td> tags or the site will get messed up.
I agree with the above posters, the text is hard to read.
You should also consider META tags in the source so search engines can index it allowing people to find it. You probably already thought about this so sorry if ya have.
Use some better looking gradients. I think yours is too light, but then again it's my opinion. See if you can find a stock photo on a free stock photo site and spruce it up a bit in the header. Smaller font may look too in the top.

Try it out, tons of transitions, effects all in which you can view real-time. I've used it for all my school projects and it works great.
If you are trying to hack the resolution of a game, such as BF2 you would edit the shortcut.
Here you make it 1280 by 1024 by hacking the shortcuts target. You would add a few things after it.
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Demo\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
 Thanks for the tip about Windex. I never used it on my LCD before, but I've stopped my mom just in time from cleaning it with windex. Water is good enuf for me.
I was in a cave once and some guy was shooting arrows at me. I was in a doorway up on a rock so he couldnt hit me. The arrows bounced off and landed in a pile. I waited a while because I noticed the arrows just kept coming n coming. After about 15 minutes I ran down killed him, and picked...
Sweet setup!
You must have some reallly reaaally nice protections systems for your house. (Fire/Theft) Not sure if I would have it in the basement, people around here (MA) get flooded basements quite often.
Btw, what did you goto school for? Computer science? or Computer Engineering? I'm...
Simple, but all I need. Next year Ill be at college and the setup will remain the same. I'll probably get a new router, and the college gives you your own laptop which is included in the tuition.
There are also programs out there to make a video a screensaver. My friend made his logo in 3DS max spin, and saved it to video. Just use the program to make it a screensaver.
Another thought is use the HL2, or Oblivion mod kits. U can in theory create a whole new game without programming. Just model in 3DSMAx export, convert, and your new models can be used in your game or mod. No programming required, all you need to do is the fun stuff, design, art, model.
I just picked up a Viewsonic VX2025WM for $350 USD or 274 Euro. DVI and analog inputs meaning you can do 2 computers. Its also 20.1" so its very big, google it and tell me it isnt sleek looking. Refresh rate of 8ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 16ms white-black-white (typ).
Hope this helps, then...
Hey, tell me how it works out for ya. I ordered a 20.1 inch widescreen LCD and I'm curios as to how well the different sizes work together. I think I'm gonna have too much desktop space at college, but oh well. :p
My work has a lot of those LED displays. It's a catscan and they have 2 for each one. Thats nearly 6 in all at almost 3 grand a peice. :o I don't see the real difference between those and my current LCD that cost me 300.
I dont think I'm gonna get my hands on this, by the time the price...
heh, seems like everyone has this LCD. I ordered mine from the egg last night. Getting it as a graduation present so I can use it as a TV/Comp next year at Wentworth Tech. Best of all, it was only $350 and no shipping cost.
I'll post a video next week when I get my hands on it.
