Hmm so i have a chance to buy a lightly used Rift w/ Touch Controller for $225.. im thinking of pulling the trigger. However i was eye balling the Windows Sets granted is it worth buying one of those newer sets for $400-$500 or at the price of $225 rift just good deal to grab?

good point hmm.. im also debating if i do come across a cheap used pimax 4k might be easy way to get in tinker around cause i mostly want to use it for videos for wanking telemetry. Maybe be able to find one for 200 or less. Hmmph.

im debating on buying a rift @ 399.99 or waiting for Samsungs VR @ 499.99 seems like it could be much improved. ive also been debating maybe finding a used Rift for $200 . hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ?

why are people blow away by VR in a headset when a mobile vr is 90% cheaper and just slightly worse? Very odd indeed. I will say the mobile vr headset feels a bit clunky as F though im sure the mounted display ones are more comfortable. With that said, I still kinda really want to try this out...

The Windows Media Sets for example the ASUS has a higher resolution and little no SHD compared to the Rift its a huge improvement (based on reviews), the only different then is the tracking and I'd prefer the inside out tracking rather setting up sensors and having a shit ton of more cables...

My phone is iphone6s plus, so the videos i can do are only 1080p, when the mixed reality is going to be bigger FOV and 1440p. im prob gonna get one of the mixed reality sets eventually $325 and very small room it should be pretty cool.

Sounds like a plan picked up the merge headset for now to use with my phone and I'll move towards a full set later on. May be some serious pimax price drops once the new one gets rolling or maybe the asus windows reality one may be cool
