Well I also got a prob in my VX2025...
Everytime I switched from example frozen throne game to a window let's say an excel file, the monitor just turns off and on and it will be like that forever... and I have to restart my PC to have it to normal.. after a while it will be like that again...
Well first of all prevention is better than cure that's why I put up an acrylic LCD protector. Once it's there it's hard to remove it I read it in the manual..
Yeah it was the plastic that came from the box.. But I have a customed acrylic that would help avoiding accidentally touching the screen that can cause dead pixel or simply oily stain in the screen.=)
The problem is there's no temp monitoring "enabled" in my videocard.. unless you flash the BIOS or something like that which is dangerous in my opinion.. However I do tried touching the Viedocard after I shut it down and it's not that "hot" afterall..
Good day guys!
Just got my newly replaced LCD.
Just have one problem though. Don't know particularly if it's because of the LCD or the VideoCard..
The problem goes this way..
I'm playing for about an hour and what will happen is the monitor will just turn off and on and off and it...

Try to call or talk to your local distributor.. That's what I did when I discover 1 dead pixel in my LCD. Luckily they are kindly enough to replace it with a new one. :p
I'm currently here in the office.. I'll double check my monitor for some problems(i hope there's none).
thanks for the warning bro! I'll keep you posted so that everyone can be warned..
thanks!
Hi just a newbie here and before I read your post I actually done what is stated in your post..
sadly I don't have any idea if I have damaged or something like that happened in my LCD..
Is there a particular way I would find it? and what about 8bit? how would I know that my LCD is running...
Got my replacement! I'm very lucky because when I bought it last month it has 1 dead pixel and after talking to the manager he replaced it with a brandnew one! now it's dead pixel free!
One more thing, in case you have a Xenon830 dvd player you can try to use the vga connection straight to...
I'll be having mine tomorrow but one proble occurs... I have a low spec video card.. I'ts just Inno3d 6600..
What do you think guys? will it work for 1680x1050?
and for the games I must play... :(
HI guys!!!
Just new here and it's really a nice forum! ;)
I just wanted to ask since I've just ordered a Viewsonic VX2025 yesterday, if my current specs would run or do just fine with this baby.
Here's my specs:
Motherboard: ECS 915p-1
Processor: Intel p4 lga775 2.8...
