That's great if your using your TV as a PC monitor (although how many PC's can run 4k @ 120hz?) but for many people that own current 4k TV's the HDMI's 2.1 feature just won't be utilised, unless you specifically need the features that 2.1 offers I don't think that 's it a big worry for current...
With regards to the review,
Can I ask why there wasn't a CPU bench mark/comparison done please as I thought what with the i7 being stipulated as a minimum it would be nice to see what performances differences there was between an i5 and i7
I hope if there is going to be a Watch Dog's...
hi just a quick question, will the following work on standard dual x16 pci-e 2.0 motherboard,
1 x GTX260 powering 2 x displays (main GPU)
1 x 9800GT being used as a dedicated PhysX card also power 2 x displays (secondary GPU)
Basically I want to know if I can dedicate the 9800GT to do...
Wow thanks, I had this problem years, never really understood why it was happing until today it was bugging me that much that I decided to go onto a major google mission to try and find a solution and you thread what popped up, the problem I had was that I always have a shortcut to a shared...
yes I agree, if your going to be plugging a 360/PS3 etc into it then it could be important to have 1:1 pixel mapping but if your just using it for the PC and your gpu can do 1:1 pixel mapping then I really don't see a need to upgrade to the ao4 revision, tbh I never even knew you could even...
woooo hooooo, I found the options in the Nvidia panel that allows me to choose my monitor to scale instead of the gpu :-),
just so people know what the options look like,
looking at the above it looks like my video card was capable of 1:1 pixel mapping ?
I've just tested a few games out at different lower resolutions and still the option was greyed out, I am using a 8800gtx if that helps, do I need to change any settings in the nvidia control panel ?
Here's a pic of the options that are grey out, on the back of the Monitor it has a sticker that reads REV A04 and a barcode with the serial number above it, it also says it's rev AO4 on the box.
thats what I'm using, DVI, strange, I've checked the back, it's defo ao4, when I go to the display settings I won't let me change the 'wide mode' options which are 1:1, Aspect and Fill
hi guys, I just got my replacement from dell and it's an ao4 revision, only thing is I still don't have access to the 1:1 option in the menu
I'm in the mind set as you mate, I've recently brought a dell 2407 ao3 revision and tbh I'm really not that fussed, alot of people will never even use the feature, I will be buying another one in a month or two, I would like it be ao4 just to help put a bit of extra re-sell value on it thats all...
just updated my rig with a Dell 2407 (ao3), just waiting now until the ao4 revision becomes main stream then I'll get myself another one for dual screen  ,
dude did you get this screen in the end ? if so how did it feel, I've just sold my Samsung 244T b-cos of input lag issues, now I'm scared to pull the trigger on the dell 2407 incase it has the same problems.
From Wikipedia,
Input lag is a phenomenon associated with some types of LCD displays that refers to latency, or lag measured by the difference between the time a signal is inputted into a display and the time it is shown by the display. This lag time has been measured as high as 65ms, or the...
I recently got a free upgrade from Samsung from a SM-225BW 22" Widescreen to a SM244T 24", the problem i'm having is the input lag :( , in practicly all single player games it's not a issue but as soon as I boot up CSS or UT2004 online then things start to go down hill fast :-(, the thing is...
thanks for the replies guys, I guess I'll take it then :D , If I find the input lag to be a major annoyance then I'll just ebay it and get a different panel.
hi guys, I curruntly own a Samsung SM225BW http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-048-SA, I've had 2 swap outs now due too bad back light bleeding, now Samsung have offered to change my SM225BW for the Samsung SM-244T 24" Widescreen at no extra cost...
wow that's bad :-(, I wonder if there will ever be a decent driver release, I'm starting to feel these problems are more than just software issues, this card just does'nt feel right to me, not like the rock solid nvidia cards I'm used to too.
This is qouted from Nvidia Forums, it's an email to a user that was also concernd about the high temps of his 8800gtx,
"finally got in touch with BFG yesterday and got the official response:
",
Yes, this is normal and actually pretty good. Most of the test we have done
here have been...
I would try them myself but I have about a zillion icons layed out on my desktop in a speficic way so it take me an hour to put them back again after a new driver install, any way heres a link to the drivers,

there's a modded *.inf included...
There seems to be a increasing number of people now claiming that the C2D is actually slower at mutli-tasking than the an AMD x2 cpu clocked at the same speed, I wonder how much truth there is to this, on my home forum over the pond there has been an intresting thread in regard's to this, the...
I've just got hold of 22" widescreen samsung SyncMaster 225BW, i'm very pleased with it, the only downfull with these panels is they sometimes have a little backlight bleed, it can only really be noticed on a completly black background though so it depends how fussy you are, I would also...
Picture of overule setup.
My Main Rig, Relisys RTL1720, Samsung SM225BW, LG L1950S
Secoundry Rig, Philips 170C, Samsung SM215TW
I use this old Widescreen LCD Projector for the Milkdrop visualization from winamp at night with a bit of mellow trance it really helps you unwind.
just a quick question :) , I already own the Samsung 215TW and think it is a wonderfull screen the only problem being the input lag, does the 205BW have any issues with input lag ?

This sounds intresting, could be the boost that Ageia needs, there may not be any real killer games out with PPU support at the moment but there are lots of people out there that use 3D Mark to extend thier e-penis, me...
mine says it's made in Slovakia May 2006, so it's pretty dam new off the factory line, is'nt it the overdrive on these panels that cause the input lag, surely samsung could change that by updating the firmware and lowering the overdrive to improve the input lag, I'd put up with 16ms response...
after spending some more time with this screen (215TW) I ended up going back to my 19 LG tft due to the input lag, now rather than just leaving it in the box I thought I might as well use it on my secoundry system while I wait for samung to get some more in stock to swap it out, thing was tho I...
