Can't answer a lot of those questions, but the "fill" option zooms the standard a bit so it reaches the sides of the screen more (and cuts of the tops of the source as a consequence). There is no stretching involved in the two options, just zooming.

Finally bit on this display this morning. Just have one question for those who already have it- how are standard definition cd-sized divx/xvid dvd rips on this display? I'm used to running a 19" CRT at 1280x1024, just wanna know what I can expect... do they look grainy, or noticeably blotchy...
Hmm, just came across this thread with my Bigwater SE system in the mail, I have to say I'm a bit worried...
I got it mainly because I want something that will both fit in my PC and still allow it to be portable (for LANs). I currently have a 3000 venice @ 2ghz, not planning on going too much...
I tried different wire configs on the fan, it either acted the same, or didn't turn on at all. To top it all off, the hard drive died after all this time. So without a working fan or harddrive, this machine has successfully made it into the basement bin. :( R.I.P.
Over the years the battery life has diminished so that it always needs to be plugged in... and yes, the heatsinks do get in the way of closing the case! :p
Anyone with advice on how to fix the fan to run constantly instead of when the cpu has already overheated? :confused:
I have a Sony Vaio that I use as a secondary computer. The fan is acting very strangely: it will spin up during startup, and then once in windows (XP) it stops completely. If I have too many applications/tasks open, the CPU will overheat. Once this happens, I will hear the harddrive "click" and...
