you might try upping the voltage on cpu-nb not sure what that is in ur cmos but thats what it was in mine...

make an iso or d/l the iso of memtest then burn to cd.... i use ac120 and or nero.... you may be able to get timings al itttle lower but not much if ocing unless ur lucky....

put command rate to 2 instead if 1....

kingston kxh pc4000 or pc3500.... have had great results from both....

did you use thermal paste... i used artic silver my temps never reach 40c..... both cores folding 24/7... and mines oced pretty good... air flow through the case?

a 1t command rate will give better system response providing your still stable. tighter timings will make the pc seem to be faster...

find a different hardware store.. small town guthrie oklahoma ace hardware has the same screws... they have 4 isles of screws..... maybe even auto parts store..

go into your bios and manually set ddr timings and fsb to 400, alot of boards drop the fsb when using 4 sticks of ram...

have owned several msi boards they are very pivk about ram when it comes to oc,ing.... do you have some better ram to try?

this is my opinion by what i have experienced.... the higher the fsb the better, more responsive... higher multi ahhh just more clock to me... only chip i could tell the diff was an xp2500 oced to 2.4 by multi plus fsb
