For anyone else who may be reading this, do you know if this bundle is still redeemable, even though the offer itself has actually expired? Thanks!
I have similar cracking issues with my HD555 (my gateway drug, lol), which is from the same generation/family and design as your HD595.
The HD650's are not as likely to break at the same location, the headband overall is much more robust. I have an HD600, which is built very similarly, and I...
Lol! :D
Games don't push hardware enough. People complain.
Demanding game is finally released that no hardware can run maxed-out. People complain.
QED - people just like to complain.
For what it's worth, I beat ROTR that Sunday morning, following the PC release, at 2160 resolution...
How is this Gigabyte 970 NOT a good deal?

Thanks for sharing OP!
From an ethics/moral high ground perspective, I can understand and sympathize. Sadly, there's just nothing else available now. Plus, judging by the fact that the Pangu team are able to burn through another exploit shows that multiple possibilities for a 7.1+ jailbreak have existed all this time...
Thanks for the heads up!
I was able to successfully jailbreak both my iPhone 5 and iPad Mini WiFi without any issues; although I did painstakingly take extra precautions to back up my devices on both my rMBP and Windows machine, just in case. I've been itching for something like this ever...
In for one! Thanks OP!
Interestingly enough, I got in on their deal for iOS 7 development yesterday for $59 if anyone is interested:

Sadly, I have completely lost interest in gaming. It was fun while it lasted, but this card deserves a better home.
I sold my original 780 SC ACX, and immediately regretted it. In the same weekend, I bought this card used off the forums in October 2013. I just checked the Guest RMA and there...
I would be inclined to believe that that person (having a clean slate) would be able to soak up knowledge and adapt much better than any of us who are used to using one or the other.
I do agree with you though that some things are just inherently easier to do on Windows. This stems from the...
This looks to be the best that you can get:

UnknownSouljer really hit it home with a lot of the points above. OSX is really more focused towards cultivating a productive work environment - not being able to play many games on it certainly does help minimize the distractions. ;) But moreso, the ergonomics and design features that go into...
I've contemplated selling my gaming PC as well, since it sees very little use now. It's just hard to give up (and get rid of) a Surround set up when I do fire it up, every now and then. :D
Having a single 780 for 1080p Surround (m-ITX setup), I was kind of on the fence. However, the price difference after selling a perfectly good 780 is too great to pick up a Ti, for now. Maybe if prices came down over the next few months, I might consider it - but that probably won't be happening...
How is it sad?
My HTPC i3 3225 plays all current games with the best of them at 1080p. It can load Photoshop, run a crap ton of browser windows and tabs, and handles all other desktop duties without issue. The same can be said for the i5 dual cores in both my 13" rMBP and Mac Mini (minus the...
I am currently typing on my one-week old i5 2.4 GHz/8GB RAM/256GB SSD 13" rMBP and am VERY happy with it! With the way performance upgrades have slowed down (where even Core 2 Duo based machines are still very capable at everyday tasks), I am sure the "lowly" i5 will last quite a while to come...
I am selling this Mac Mini because I ended up getting a MacBook Pro recently, and I only need one Mac in the apartment. :( This Mac Mini is less than a month old; so the standard warranty is set to expire on 10/4/14. You can add an Applecare warranty any time before that date to extend coverage...
I currently have a Mini and am contemplating going with the iPad Air myself. With that said, I will wait until the local Apple store has them in stock to to check it out in person and see if I would like the extra weight. Granted the Air is lighter than the 3 and 4 before it, but it is still...
This seems to have fixed an issue from the beta drivers where the taskbar was being erratic (in tandem with using DisplayFusion) after exiting a game or resuming from sleep mode. Seems pretty solid to me. Hopefully these truly are BF4 ready.
Yeah that should be fine; worst case you can just stack some books or magazines to get the height dialed in properly. It'll take a little bit of playing around, but you will clearly hear a difference when the speakers are aimed right.
Spatial imaging seems quite good. I do play BF3 with them and have had moments where I naturally look up from aircraft flying overhead, if that tells you anything. :D I'm not sure if it could be even better with a gaming sound card, but I am quite happy with it paired to my Audioengine D1...
Awesome speakers! I paid $314 shipped for them in May, and they have performed well past my expectations. They are worth every penny, provided you have a good sound card and enjoy listening to lossless audio files.
I'm genuinely not trying to be a dick, but since when does seeing fisheye stretching count as an opinion? It's either there or it's not. Perusing through in-game screenshot threads over at WSGF will show you all of the games have the same exact effect as well - no GPU needed on your part. ;)...
Not for nothing, but I would double check again. I just loaded up Tomb Raider to satisfy my own curiosity, and indeed the peripherals monitors have the same fisheye stretching as in Battlefield 3 - even moreso too, I would say. Not sure if it may be because you have 1050p (16:10 aspect ratio) x...
Different games have varying degrees of fisheye "distortion" on the peripheral screens. It takes time to get used to this, but you're actually not supposed to look directly at those screens - you're supposed to keep your eyes focused on the center screen, and let your natural peripheral vision...
Right, but it's not like the developers have carte blanche to do exactly everything they want. As evidenced by community driven texture packs and mods, the boundaries can be pushed further; with user discretion that they be running higher VRAM spec'd video cards in order to enjoy smooth performance.
