I am soo glad I never bought the nforce MB. After they dropped the Soundstorm I couldn't see any reason to pay some of prices they want. :eek: Going with a "budget" MB was the best choice I ever made since I did buy the X-fi I've never had any problems other than Creative's bloatware.

At the least I would wait until Intel releases the Core 2 (Conroe). If the performance is what is being talked about I would expect AMD to lower prices to keep Intel from being the best price to performance solution.

Basically what I was trying to say was the X-fi sucks at taking an input like from the Xbox360 on the digital input then passing that to your speakers. If you want surround sound from gaming you are stuck with the analog connectors(yes the colored ones :p )
