Haha, that's awesome. I have the exact same thing. It's a little bulky but it still kicks ass.
No experience with the Zune here but I really don't like the fact that it doesn't have drag-and-drop capability.
Anyhoo, hopefully you find something that suits you OP.
I get artifacts sometimes too when it rains in STALKER and AFAIK it's a fairly common problem. Whenever it happens, I just restart the game and that'll fix it.
A couple of games I've been playing a lot lately:
Rome: Total War
Medieval II: Total War
Technically they're not pure RTS games as there is a turn-based portion in the campaign but the actual battles are real time and can get pretty epic when two large armies collide.
Maybe try burning the CD at a slower speed (ie. 4x)
I remember having some weird problems with installing a N-Lite modified XP installation when I burned the CD at a relatively fast speed.
Um, I think it's your friends that suck because I've used plenty of Antec cases (including the P180 which I'm using right now) and I have nothing but good things to say about 'em.
I say go for the P180. Just make sure you have a compatible PSU.
Another Tribes lover here. It was so ahead of it's time. There was nothing more fun than skiing down hills on your way back to base for a flag cap :D
They really need to make a new one. I never had more fun with a multiplayer game than with Tribes.
Argh, I wish I had some cash right now. I'd so jump on this. It would have came out to $308 shipped, which is $10 cheaper than anywhere else. And if the rebates would go through, it would come out to about $250.
Ah well.
I second the Evercool VC-RE. Fits perfectly on my Ultra-D in a P180. Never breaks the 50C barrier on load @ 1.6v with the fan running at about 2300rpm.
I like vnc too (cross-platform ftw). I'm not sure about other vnc clients but I use RealVNC and there's an icon in the system tray that'll change colour to signify if someone is connected. So that kinda hinders any anonymity, if that's what you're looking for that is. I don't know if there's...
I have the Ninja and a P180 too. When I first tried to install it while the mobo was still in the case it was frustrating as hell. Frustrating enough that I yanked my mobo out of there to get it mounted. But once I saw how it went on, it wasn't that difficult getting it back after I lapped my...
If you're listening to music mostly, yeah I think they're pretty damn good. Especially since it can be had for around $25. I say go for it because I can almost guarantee it'll be 100 times better than your onboard sound. I have one in my rig along with a SB Live. Live for gaming, the AV-710...
I usually don't trust software for monitoring voltages either but most of the time their readings aren't that far off from reality. But yeah, test it with a multimeter to make sure.
After some mad tweaking I'm happy with my rig's performance. 1280x1024 with HDR, most sliders turned all the way up. It'll dip to the mid-teens in some places but I can live with that. The only thing that irks me is the studdering when loading new areas. I guess I should stop looking to...
I'm gonna say XP although 2K isn't far behind. ME shouldn't even be listed up there. I can't even begin to describe the aggravation I've had with it...
