Currently I am building a new system with 2 Seagate 7200.10 320gb. Fry's has the rebadged Maxtor's for $60. I am timkering with the idea of buying 2 more. I am not completely sure, but beleive 0+1 will improve performance and will provide backup. So I will have 640gb avaible with the other 2...
That's the system i'm going to build in my sig, it was in a system with a c2d e6400 and 7900gt. It didn't have the capactior whine like my Antec had before I got rid of it. I ordered the Silencer 750, color matches my car:cool:
So I had Hackers playing in the background (Hack the Planet!) while messing with my new stuff and I heard a small pop and my PC shut off. Then smoke came out of the PSU, real stinky crap. So I unplugged everything and now I need a new PSU. I was thinking of RMA'ing it but I think I would prefer...
Ohhhh, I didn't even think about customs, makes sense. Oh well, i'll just see how high I can get this thing. I bought a Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme to cool the sucker.
I just got my package from NCIX, pack date 6-26. The damn CPU box was open though! The seal was broken, no way that happened during shipping. I'm asking for a replacement, I don't want a damn refurbished product.
I would probably go with the V1200, however I absolutely hate reversed atx cases. The PC-A70B is a monster! Not as pretty as the V1200. The structure of the V1200 looks more solid than the PC-A70B.
I already have a Zalman 9500 and want to overclock the Q6600 I ordered as far as it will go on air in a P180b. Will the Zalman be fine or should I buy the Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme? I mean the Thermalright has Ultra and extreme in the product name so it must be good. Is it worth spending...
Damn... I didn't know about tankguys. I ordered from NCIX since the thread that recomended them didn't mention anyone getting a B3 and my invoice says it is a B3.
Holy hell dude... $300 proc on a $50 budget board with a Via chipset? 7200GS:eek: Who is "him" and why is he selling you a $300 proc with a $50 mobo and $40 vid card?
I ordered mine on the 25th. No firestix for me, I have 4 gigs of Crucial Balistix 1066. I'm tempted to run to Fry's and see if they have any G0's. With any luck though the invoice is just wrong online. I wonder even if I could return the B3 to Fry's, don't know if the serial number is part of...
Yes please! I need to decide whether or not I want to keep my B3. I don't want to pay shipping to/from them again. I wonder if I can get a G0 from Fry's and return the B3 to em...
I just got my email from NCIX and it says a B3, i'm pretty pissed, don't blame anyone since it wasn't promised to be a G0. With any luck it will overclock high, i'm hoping for 3.6GHz. So I am curios as well to what these chips will do.
I beleive it was the Ninja I bought, had the adhesive backing for the backplate on the mobo. I could not get that damn thing off! I got soo frustrated and stuck a butter knoife in there and it was bending the damn knife. I eventually got it off after scraping a few traces. I was too mad anyway...
I just ordered off of ncix.com, had to pay with paypal since they do not take US credit cards. $320 shipped. I could have gone to Fry's and got it for a few bucks more after taxes or got it cheaper off mwave but I wanted the G0 stepping. I really don't need this, but i'll be selling my e6400 @...
Horrible idea. Underpowered POS even for $150, get a Dell or something else decent for $50 more. I hope Everex has enough support staff for everyone calling in because they know nothing about Linux.
This and this websites state that HD has 2mb cache, not 8mb of the WD2500BEVS. I couldn't find the cache size directly from WD however. I don't know how big of a difference that would make though.
They are the new Inspiron 1520 etc painted all black. They also have a kevlar keyboard lining to protect from spills and what, full magnesium alloy casing instead of just the lid and a different audio chip (from what I found on notebookreview.com)
