Howdy. I've been using a Logitech G7 wireless mouse for about a year and a half now with no problems. The other day, my cursor started freezing up randomly. It freezes up every 5-30 seconds and will last anywhere from 2-30 seconds. I thought it was my mouse dying on me but I just tried an old...
I hate to ask because I like to think I can figure these things out on my own but I'm stumped. When I play 3D games (Wow, FarCry, Oblivion) I get horrible screen glitches. Here are some screenshots from WoW.

What I sometimes see:
Sometimes random textures shoot...
UPDATE:
I'm typing this message on my G15. Woohoo!
Last night I took off all of the screws on the back and realized I'm not smart enough to take it apart so I put them back on. Then I used a hair dryer on it which didn't really do much except make the keys hot. But leaving it overnight did...
I wish it were that easy.. turns out my keyboard went haywire after getting just that little bit under the keys. I dunno if it shorted out or what but it won't let me type and it's acting like a key is pressed down when it's not. What a bummer..
About 5 minutes ago I had a nice big coke spill. Then I knocked over the can while I was cleaning and emptied whatever was left inside onto my desk. The only thing I'm really worried about is getting a bit of it under the keys of my G15 keyboard. I love this thing. Can I save it?
Thanks again for all of the replies. I'm glad you guys could clear it up for me. I'm really happy with this monitor running at 60hz but I was just worried I had set something up wrong. :)
Yep! It comes with a DVI cable and two VGA-DVI connectors.
Cool, thanks for the reply. I was pretty worried at first because at 60hz my older CRT used to give me headaches but now that you mention it I don't see any flickering at all on this one. :)
Hey there. I picked up a Viewsonic VX2025wm a couple weeks ago and I've noticed 2 strange things since I switches from my old 17" monitor. Number one is that this one won't go up to 75hz refresh rate. 75hz is being displayed as a refresh rate it should be able to achieve, but when I try to set...
Thanks for the replies. I'm not going to bother going out and buying any new hardware. I've got a TV in the next room but I thought it would be neat to hook it up here if I was capable. Cheers!
Hi there. I've got a 7900GT CO video card and a VX2025WM monitor. The 7900gt came with a s-video cable and I was just wondering how I would go about hooking up my Ps2 to my computer. Has anyone done this? Also, would I need any software for it to run properly or to shift the display? Thanks!
I'm currently on my second EVGA 7900GT CO. I had to RMA the first one because it was faulty and I still need to RMA this second one because it's faulty as well. Can't send it back until I find a card to use while I wait though. I'll let you know what happens with card #3.
I currently can't...
Thanks again for the replies. I got another RMA number and I'll mail this video card back on the weekend. I still need to call ncix.com back tomorrow though to bitch about shipping costs because I just realised I'll be damned if I have to pay to ship another video card back to them. I appreciate...
I've tried about 4 different driver sets. I'm currently using the newest one put out by eVGA. And a quick update: I did just try underclocking it way down and the crazy artifacts that cover my screen seem to have gone away (through my 1 minute of testing before I head to bed) but Oblivion...
Right now my GPU temp is 44 degrees. I'm not sure exactly what it's reaching when I play games. As for underclocking, could that actually be the issue? I'd be kind of annoyed if that were the case. You would think that after paying $400 for a video card you would get one that works.. especially...
Hey there. I get really messed up artifact problems with every game I play. I recently put together the system in my signature (like a month ago) and I've been having these problems ever since. Here is a screenshot I just took from FarCry:
As you can see, my water texture looks all jumbled...
That's very generous of you.
I'm not in need of a Dell coupon just yet, but I'm sure I will be when I buy a laptop in september. May I ask how you got that coupon? Thanks!
Thanks a lot for the reply. I'll probably order that OCZ I linked to tonight just because it's cheaper :p I'll spend the money I save on a nicer monitor. Cheers!
EDIT: I just checked the ncix weekly sale page and it looks like yours is on for just under $160. So your Mushkin it is! Thanks again.
I was thinking I'd just grab this sucker. Any thoughts? Thanks again

Hey there. I recently put together the new rig in my signature. As you can see, my RAM is probably choking the life out of my poor speedy new system. I'd like to purchase some RAM that would be decent for overclocking. I haven't overclocked my CPU yet but I would like to somerwhere down the...
To be honest I have no idea. I can't remember exactly which forum I found that picture on. I just snatched it because I get the exact same problem. Thanks for the reply.
Hey there and thanks for reading. I bought a 7900GT CO about a week ago and it works just dandy with World of Warcraft, but when I run farcry with water detail on highest settings I get white glitchy artifacts all over the water. This is the least of my problems though - When I play Oblivion I...
Krikey. Thanks for the reply. I thought you needed to take off both side panels before you could remove the front cover. How would a newb go about removing the front cover? Thanks again.
Hey there. Thanks a lot for reading. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get the left side panel off of my case. This is the panel without the window/twist nobs. It seems like it should swing off like the other one, but it really doesn't want to.. And I'm afraid to force it. It seems...
Hehe oh man.. That's gold.
Oh and an update:
I just installed Farcry and i get some funny flashy artifact/glitchy things when I look at water. I guess this would indicate that I do indeed need new drivers. This just seems kinda weird to me because I had the brand new ones and then I...
It will start by me looking in a certain direction and there will be massive pillar like textures shooting up to infinite heights. Then I'll look around some more and there will be massive telephone wire-like textures shooting across the sky, and the more I start to move, my screen starts to...
My computer case has the side panel off right now because I recently built this computer and I'm too lazy to put it on. And my video card temperature seems to be sitting at around 45-50 degrees when I'm playing.
Hey there. I'm about an hour into the game and all of the sudden I'm starting to see terrible artifacts. My whole screen will fill with crazy textures or sometimes turn black. This happens every time I load one of my save files and it's so bad it's making the game unplayable. Has anyone else had...
Hey there and thanks for reading. I happen to have a 512mb stick of pc3200 RAM as well as a 512mb stick of pc2100 RAM. Being a gamer I realize I need to go out and buy some decent RAM, but it's going to take me another month or so before I get around to it. For now, would you guys recommend -...
Update:
I borrowed my buddy's Windows CD and it worked like a charm. On my original install I had used the Cicero restore disk that came with my horrible old computer. Seems like all I needed was a proper windows install! Thanks again for the advice. Cheers.
Thanks a lot for the replies. This was a fresh install on a brand new hard drive. I have a feeling that it might be the antivirus program I installed? That was the only software I put on before installing SP2. Now that I've had some sleep I'll get back to tinkering with it and I'll let you guys...
