    1 HD (OS) + 2 different Computers = ?

**The operating system used is Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit edition. Problem: I currently have two computers a) Desktop and b) SFF. I only use the SFF when I go home or for gaming events as the Desktop is WAY to heavy to carry around. The problem is that with the SFF I have to constantly...

Adding window to TJ07 (any service that does it?)

Just contact hank again. Sometimes he's really busy and doesn't reply but if you shoot him another email he usually gets back to you very quickly. I know Hank will do this for you because he offered to do the same thing with me and my TJ07 had I bought it through newegg instead of him.

advice on July 22nd quad core SFF

This is mostly true although I think there are a few exceptions. One being, http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_product_v2.htm Should be able to cool an 8800gts while only taking up the graphics card space and not using 2 slots (if the cooler fits the 8800 series. Thermalright's website...

advice on July 22nd quad core SFF

Don't forget you could always buy one of the single slot converters for the gts and gtx if you feel so inclined. http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=269&cat=91&page=1 Converts any 8800 card into a single slot solution. Never tried it myself so I don't know how well it works.

advice on July 22nd quad core SFF

He posted that he plans on eventually adding the best graphics card he can get and mentioned an 8800gts. That adds even more heat to an already cramped space. Considering most aftermarket air coolers in much largers cases have trouble keeping the quads (not even overclocked) at mediocre temps...

    Asus c90s?

Just wondering why nobody has yet to discuss this Laptop. I for one am looking familiar to it as something that could possibly replace my SFF. Wondering if anybody has any information on it other than the information available through your casual Google searching (notebookreview).

    Beware of FrozenCPU.com

Honestly some of you guys need to go back and re-read the OP's posts before just spouting off in this thread based on some of the comments being made. I agree with the original poster and I have had this happen with ASUS on a return and also with Performance-PC's. In both circumstances I paid...

Can anybody verify what desk this is? I really like it. Edit: Did some digging and found the desk here "http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=3830242&st=bush+desk&lp=4&type=product&cp=1&id=1051384800457" in case anybody cared in the future.

The Jerker has been discontinued and its successor the Fredrik doesn't really compare. I'm floating on possibly buying a new desk as well so I would love to hear other options.

    2 DDC+'s Not Quiet

I just finished upgrading my loop from 2 Danger Den Mag's (pieces of crap don't ever buy them) because they kept failing and making weird grinding noises to two DDC+'s. I'm running dual loops feeding into a quad reservoir. I have the pumps mounted on a 5 1/4 extender plate in a drive bay side...

    MCE Restricted Content

I'm getting the cable signal through my theater 550 pro, pci variant, that is inside my htpc. The cable is via a regular f connector located on the wall. No special cable box or anything.

    MCE Restricted Content

Thanks to Comcast buying out Adelphia my area just recently got a skew of channels including a full HBO lineup. However, when I go to WATCH (not even record) HBO channels on MCE I get about 10 secs worth and then a blue screen comes up telling me the channel is restricted content. Now I've...

    Multiple Wireless XP Bridging

    Tivo Series 2 Complications

My dad just recently bought a 52in DSP HDTV (capable of 1080i) and he has direct tv. He wants to watch the TV in HD, however, he is using a Tivo Series 2 receiver. The best output on the receiver is S-Video. The TV has both DVI inputs and Component inputs. Obviously S-video isn't going to...

Looking to build a SFF - Which Case?

BTW just figured I'd let everybody know that in a room where a watercooled oc'd opteron idles at 32 degrees C in a Silverstone TJ07, my little venice is idling at 28 C non overclocked. The internal motherboard temp is also reading at 28 C, northbridge is at 34 C (might have to replace the stock...

    TT Lanbox Heatsink Help

Just figured I'd let you guys know that after extensive reading over in the overclocking / cooling forums I've basically came to the conclusion that the 4 pipe opty heatsink will out perform a xp 90(c). So I believe I'll just be sticking to the opty heatsink, already fits pretty well.

Looking to build a SFF - Which Case?

The Sugo and Lanbox are roughly the same size. The Lanbox is slightly larger to accomodate for the 7in monitor flip out option. The installation of the components is VERY easy thanks to the modular design on the Lanbox. I have a 6600gt installed in the Lanbox right now and it easily fits...

Looking to build a SFF - Which Case?

I have to put my vote in for the Lanbox, seeing as how I own one and can attest to its quality. Alot of people will trash Tt but in this instance they really have a well thought out and quality made product. I'd say pound for pound my Tt Lanbox is better quality / design than my Silver Stone...

    2 HD's or 3?

Currently I am building a SFF pc and am in need of new HD's. Instead of going my normal route I decided to do something different. Normally I used one HD for OS and games and the other for Storage. However, I am flirting with the idea of getting 3 HD's this time around instead of 2. One for...

The "supports raptor X" means that it has a 3.5 internal slot mounted vertical so that you can make use of the window on the raptor x. A few other ATX cases have already done this so I'm not sure where the sarcasm is coming from. The "supports dual GPU cards" actually carries more merit than...
