Why There's No 4K Netflix Or Amazon On A PC

I want to know why the streaming services like xfinity and Netflix before Win8 don't offer even 5.1 sound. also, to weigh in on the 4k tv quality debate, I watched a 4k tv at a store and I could definitely notice an improvement over 1080p, also just because it hasn't yet reached perfection...

    IN WIN D Frame Computer Case/Chassis Review @ [H]

I sure wish I could mod a home depot sign, such style, how aesthetically pleasing! Or maybe make a small form factor HTPC with this open air case: Just making a point that they used a somewhat unusual concept: Open Air, but didn't go way out there on the design.

I agree, came within a few frames in each benchmark, did better at one, and costs $399 and comes with FARCRY3 Blood Dragon, CRYSIS3, BIOSHOCK, and Tomb Raider. Also 3GB ram helps when you do crossfire.

    Corsair Accelerator 30GB & 60GB Caching SSD Review @ [H]

From the reviews of these drives on Newgg, these drives have quite a few reliablity and compatability issues with the Dataplex software, including freezes, mechanincal drive corruption, problems with various MB chipsets, and use of AHCI. The article does discuss the reliabilty concerns users...

How to improve cooling for my netbook?

Be carefull, you can kill a MB by blasting compressed air because the fans when they spin at crazy RPMs can generate electricity back into the board! Its always a good idea to hold them still with your hand first. If your heatsink on your CPU or GPU doesn't have much tension, you can buy a...

You can run your SATA drives as AHCI mode, and then they become hot swap-able, and also can report back to HD monitoring apps that use SMART, but I think its only supported in 64bit OSs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Host_Controller_Interface http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M.A.R.T.

Those voltages are weird, when I run HWMonitor, my voltages report correctly. I wonder if it could be you PSU, or maybe your MB reporting them wrong? I wonder how many watts your using, have you ever done an online PSU calculator? Thermaltake has one: www.thermaltake.outervision.com/...

Would adding another rad actually do anything?

Couldn't you run with lower speed fans if you add a second radiator, and still have an adequate amount of cooling?
  15. S

First Water Cooling Build, advice needed!

I don't think that radiator is overkill at all, better to have more radiator, you can always turn the fans down I do think the dual loop would be overkill, the water in the loop will still be able to cool the CPU adequately and will not ruin your OC.

Do you have another video card to try to see if that is the problem? My friend has a 6950 and for some reason his BF3 crashes all the time. I have the same brand 6970 and BF3 runs stable on my rig. He runs a 32 bit OS also, don't know if that would have anything to do with it. Maybe if you...

Would adding another rad actually do anything?

Please elaborate and share your insightful knowlege:-) Even though another Radiator was added, and temps stayed the same, some might draw the conclusion that the 360 was removing as much heat as possible so there was no advantage. Others might consider that with adding an extra XSPC RS240...

Very nice job, congrats. One question though, shouldn't the inlet on the CPU block be rotated so that it fills up from the bottom to the top to aid in bleeding? The only change I would make, and keep in mind you did I great job, this is just constructive suggestion, is I like the look of...

    Noob Overclocking Question

Most motherboards list the dividers as ratios, 1:2, 3:5, 5:8, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:6, 1:1, Some MBs list it like 266, 333, 400, 533 etc. DDR800 runs at I/O bus clock of 400 and its data rate is 800 (DDR2-800) Stock at 200mhz CPU FSB, if you use a the 1:2 or 400 divider your ram I/O bus clock is...

Post your Intel Burn Test Temps

Heres my temps. I didn't see any other Q9000 CPUs listed. I run at 3.6Ghz and have had trouble pushing much past 3.8Ghz. I ran this with my fans 100% and then again with fans off. Seems odd the delta is only about 10 degrees. It's probably around 20c in my room. Maybe this is because with...

    Suggestions on airflow

Your airflow diagram looks good, but on my case (Lian-Li PC-70 Server) I could only fit a 240mm rad and also a fill port behind it and still use my top 5" bay for a CD drive. Also although cool air is always better, I would think the advantage to having the top fans suck air down into the...
