Not in the way when its on the floor, and its keeps it quiet (not that its loud like a 360). Gets too warm on the shelf above the drawers with the enclosed space and the fan really had to crank up to keep it cool.
Where else should it it be......
Put the new Sony 40" in a few weeks ago, came with a free PS3 from Sony so i couldn't pass up on the deal. Blu-ray and HD footage never looked so good...
Hands down, go the Westy 37"...... If only they were available in Australia i'd have one by now!
The 7900GT should have enough grunt to keep you going at 1920x1200, the Core2 you're planning will help boost that a bit. My X800XT PE on a crummy 3200+ can run HL2 @60 fps with 1920x1200 Dell...

Larger desktop to work with on one screen with internet and multiple apps, and with gaming, you can see the bugger thats shooting at you that didnt know was there with your 4:3 monitor :p
Cheers guys, i reckon i still need a wireless k/b and mouse kit soon, so i can switch over to the Sony to play some games. Just that little bit bigger screen :)
Got the Dell 2407WFP the other week, was getting sick of the 20.1" BenQ. Still running the Sony Bravia 26" V-Series. Also got the Logitec Z-5500 last week.
I'm happy now :D
To tell you the truth i havent run any games from the pc on it, new setup. The PS2 works nicely on it but i'll try and run Halflife 2 on it tonight and see how she performs. Keep you posted!
Pretty satisfied with the BenQ FP202W. I realise there are better monitors out there but they were out of my price range.
Pros: fast, crisp, clear image
black bezel doesnt draw attention to itself
great value, was 30% cheaper than FP2005 which was on sale (20% off rrp)...
Its a desk from a cheap chain store in Australia called the Warehouse, not sure if you guys OS have it. But it was only $180AUS and suited me perfectly, nice and large return style desk with built in filing cabinet.
Heres a pic of the complete desk + extra filing cabinet with the printer on...
Heres my new setup
BenQ FP202W 20" @ 1680 x 1050 main PC monitor
and the TV is setup as a second monitor
Sony Bravia 26" LCD HDTV @ 1360 x 768
Very versatile setup i reckon, i love it!
My first video card i remember was an 8mb 3dfx that ran a pass thru cable with a standard video card, that was dual pci but man need for speed 1 + 2 were awesome with that!
As for AGP, well the Asus GeForce 2 GTS was my first big splurge for gaming, then the GF3 Ti500, then the GF4 Ti4200...
Went and bought one of the these monitors yesterday. Picked it up for $615AUS which is bloody cheap (Dell 2005FPW is $880 incl 20% discount in Australia) by comparison. First thing out of the box no dead pixels, that was a good start. Colors are nice and crisp and 20" WS is not too big but not...
