Unlikely considering the DP on this is only 1.2 and you need the new 1.2a.
Agreed. Monoprice also has fantastic customer support, so you can rest easy knowing you'll be taken care of if you have any issues with the monitor.
Use this lightweight software to change the brightness of the monitor. It's similar to the dim feature on a laptop. It'll safe you from spamming the brightness button on the monitor every night.

It looks like a rebranded Achieva Shimian QH300-IPSMS.
There's no reviews of the Shimian 30", but there is one for the Crossover Black tune 30X which very likely uses the same panel.
It's in Korean so use google translate...
Not to mention you won't be getting consistent 120fps on a 4k monitor without SLI Titans or better. Most modern games to come out will have to be played on Low/Med settings with all the special options turned Off.
I was about to suggest you get one of the Monoprice IPS monitors for $390. They're US based and their warranty support is amazing.

Mine came with 0 defective pixels. Only slightly severe backlight bleed on some corners. I also seem to be the only person with a Qnix that can't overclock. Best I can do is 65hz without getting visible scan lines. Still totally worth it for the $317 I paid.
If any of you plan to get the Square...
I'm predicting the 30" DVI input is a rebranded Crossover 30Q5 Pro. It looks a lot like the 3020MDP aesthetically other than the design of the vent grooves on the back.
Highly doubt this monitor is using the new U3014 panels. The monitors casing design and multi-inputs makes me believe Monoprice is using a rebranded Crossover 3020MDP which is based off the U3011 panel...
I think the multi-input is a rebranded CROSSOVER 3020MDP based on the similarities of the monitors casing and inputs.
The pics on the single dvi-d monitor looks photoshopped to me so I don't know which korean monitor they're using for that.
Do you guys think the new Monoprice 30" IPS monitors coming out in March will be using the rejected Dell 30" IPS LED panels you guys are talking about?

Here's a side by side comparison of the Naga and G600. It's in French, but there's English subs if you turn on the caption.

Looks like a huge improvement as well. Razer gives you stickers to put on your thumb keys for practice, but Logitech gave the thumb keys unique ridges so you can easily feel which key you're hitting.

Sorry to go off topic, but I'm interested in buying the G700. Is the rechargeable cable that comes with the mouse as hard as they say? Is it difficult to use during game when it's plugged in compared to a normal wired mouse?
Isn't the opposite usually true? Prices usually remain stagnant or increase due to demand. By your example the 580 should've dropped in price immediately as well, no? I agree it's not worth the cost and its way above my pay grade. Though, I'm considering the 7950 once the reviews are out.
I recently purchased a aftermarket Heatsink and decided to install it last night. I did the usual routine of removing the motherboard carefully and installing the heat sink without a hitch. When I placed everything back in and reconnected what I thought was all the wires I started up the...
Is the sale still going on at the stores for those who checked if their local BB has one in stock? when i went to my BB yesterday they told me the Acer's they had left are priced back at $299 and the deal is only working online now.
Ahhhh i can't believe i missed out on this killer deal... and i was going to build a new rig this month to get rid of my 2500+ MP-M too . I went over to best buy ask saw the only monitor left was the one on display and asked them if the deal was still going on, they said the deals only...
I read a lot of problems occur when you match up the gigabyte and Ballistix together, even when you manually set the Ballistix from 1.8v to 2.2v people are still getting compatibility issues. It sucks cuz I actually planned on getting the buy.com deal on the Ballistix and a DS3, but I'll...
I recently helped my friend purchase new parts for his old computer, but I made the mistake of choosing a SATA Hard drive when his mobo only supports ATA133 devices. Do you guys know if theres some wire or adapter that can make the HD I bought run with the mobo:confused:
Hey guys, I haven't been around the computer scene in awhile so I'm a little iffy on finding out whats wrong with my friends computer.
The problem is it suddenly went dead just a week ago for no apparent reason. It's an old Pentium 4 computer that hasn't caused him any problems until now...
thats a pretty pricey mobo, i'm sure some of the $150 mobo's out there is good enough to meet your needs. that money could be spent on getting the best ddr800 rams available to make it SUPER FAST!@
LOL, so many Doom 3's being mentioned. I admit i'm one of them too . My habit of playing games at night, alone in the dark, with my face up against the screen. Has made it impossible for me to move an inch in game without cursing at myself when the next monster pops out of no where...
My NF7-S mobo won't allow me to use a Zalman and i'm looking to do a upgrade from a old Thermaltake Valcanoe 7+. Looking for a SI/SP 97 is prefered, but a SLK-xxx works too! A included fan would be greatt, but isn't necessary.
thnxs for looking
