I just put in my new GTX 280 lastnight, played Crysis for about 30 min and checked my GPU temp, It was at 60c. 90c seems a pretty high, though I am not sure what the average temp is.

I have 4 kids and all are gamers, my oldest daughter (17) is mostly into the Sim2 though. My other kids 13, 11 and 5, (boy, girl, boy) game with me all the time. I have 4 computers on a lan setup with a 5th to run dedacated server games when thats an option.

I've got 2 computers with lite-on DVD/CD burners. I have no trouble with starforce on either computer. With that said I DO NOT like it though, I like to play without the CD/DVDs in the drives as I also have 4 kids and CD's get scratched and even lost at times. Mongoose
