christ, talk about a heartbreaker. i hadn't heard any of that. and i searched "mechwarrior living legends" and "mw living legends" but not "mwll", which would probably explain why i didn't see your thread. sorry to beat a dead horse or whatever.
you know, no one forced you to read this...
...but at least we'll have this:
http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/
kudos to ballerx for posting this link in this thread, but i feel like this deserves a thread of its own. i mean, seriously, mechwarrior in cryengine?
i bought it on steam and my university throttles downloads of larger than like 500mb, and google turned up nothing since the game literally just came out.
i've tried it over multiple times, and the same thing keeps happening. times like this are why i wish every game would give you access to the developer console by default. at least if this were half-life, i could just noclip back to the game world and be on my merry way.
me neither until the...
this is what happened after i beat the first mission of jimmy's vendetta and loaded the second. one step, and i fall for all of eternity. the pc i played this on is in my sig. any idea what's going on, or how to fix it?
yeah, i did that the other day. the board is confirmed dead and already in the mail for replacement. also, i picked the 2 gene because i didn't see any reason to spend the extra $40 on features i most likely will never use, like quad sli.
a few days ago, i pulled the trigger on a new sff build from newegg, consisting of a core i7-930, xfx-branded radeon hd 5870, 6gb of ocz gold ddr3 1600 ram and, of course, an asus rampage 2 gene motherboard. because of work, i had to wait until today to build it, and lo and behold, nothing shows...
$5 is an amazing price for morrowind, even 8 years after it's release. it's still one of the biggest games on the market in terms of the sheer amount of crap there is to do.
your points are noted and appreciated, but i feel like a micro atx cube case would have an easier time fitting inside my backpack, which is what i'd use to transport it if it ends up being moved as often as i predicted (there's only about a 50/50 chance of that happening, though).
also, sorry...
yeah, i was leaning pretty hard toward da box and the gene 2 just based on what i've read here, but some people were complaining about da box having a lot of quote-unquote "issues," without really specifying what those issues were. do you have firsthand experience with it, and if you do, could...
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
gaming and schoolwork, which will include a fair amount of a/v editing, but i've got a fileserver to help handle the storage requirements of that.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
as of right...
i'm going off to college soon, so my current antec nine hundred-housed rig is going to be a bit large considering i'll probably have to move it around once a month for moving in/out of the dorms and lan parties (we have a pc gaming league, no big deal ) and whatever else may happen. the...
it's definitely one of the most immersive games i've ever played. the librarians are a HUGE pain though, but sniping nazis withmy silenced, scoped revolver was awesome enough to make up for it
i guess i'm just tired of all this bullshit. i was liking the progress being made, and now that i see the potential for it to be undone, it just disappoints me.
sadly, this matters not to the populace. :(
lol that would be a lot funnier if it wasn't so true.
i agree. they SHOULD not have to worry about that stuff. i even said that i didn't mind the level that much myself. but the fact of the matter is that they must, or else they run the risk of vilifying the entire industry. you want to include an undercover op with a terror cell in your game...
may god strike me down with lightning if i ever say this again: fox news was somewhat maybe a little kind of justified in reporting on this. i mean, seriously. gunning down truckloads of unarmed, innocent civilians in an airport?!?! of course fox was going to be all over this like white on rice...
well, i bit the bullet and re-bought the game, this time on steam so i won't have to worry about backup discs again :p. however, after i loaded it up with mods and the script extender (with steam loader), i get a crash every time i try to load it (just the usual "[program] has stopped working"...
i know right? vanilla oblivion works fine from backed up dvds. i wonder if the goty edition including shivering isles on the same disc has anything to do with the securom issue...
because i'm sure you've never lost anything before in your life, right? also, i never blamed the drm for anything. im just trying to get around it. try reading before routing all power to the jackass generators next time.
i would need to install it on the new windows installation...
...this time with oblivion: goty edition. a few weeks ago, i decided that i was going to see what windows 7 was all about, since a friend had offered to burn me a copy of the rtm release. now, a while back, i decided to make .iso images to use as backups in case i lost any game discs, which i do...
yep, that did the trick. the reason i didn't do that before is because i had assumed fomm's built-in invalidator-invalidated function was the same thing.
enemy territory: quake wars. couldn't even tell you what i was thinking.
the witcher. just never got into it. maybe i'll try again some time.
oblivion. its fun and extremely pretty, but once i had accomplished just about every meaningful task the standard game had to offer, i was left with...
damn, it's been a while since i've last posted here. good to be back...
anyway, i recently installed a venerable shit-ton of mods for fallout 3 (mmm, fook, a couple dwellings and a few others i can't remember at the moment) to revive the game for me, and for the most part, mission...
i loved bioshock. it had its fair share of bugs and bad design choices (no inventory menu?), but for games of the last 4 years, it stands alone in terms of immersion, atmosphere and storytelling.
stalker is another good one. its got some fun shooting mechanics, though the ballistics of the...
has anyone done it? i tried a few weeks ago before going on vacation, and am completely lost. the options are not what im used to (fsb speed is a weird value and in a strange place, specifics when in get home next week), the processor speed did not increase, and whats more, it won't find my os...
sounds good. i have never played a gothic game, so i probably wont experience the heartbreak you describe lol. is that community patch standalone, or would i need to install other updates?
bloodmoon is very enjoyable, the main quest and some of the gear is very cool from what i remember...
yea ive heard some good things about the witcher. what is this "enhanced version" you speak of?
i read a review (gfw mag iirc) that said it would have been a lot better if it werent so buggy. is that a pile of male cow manure, or have there been loads upon loads of patches since its release?
QFT X 1000 ive broken more controllers and other accessories over madden and ncaa football than i have over every other game i have ever played ever. clipping issues, missed penalties, raging cases of magnet hands (when a perfect pass is guided seemingly by god himself into the waiting hands of...
i used to be huge on rpgs, the above mentioned games in particular, but with the recent influx of solid (if not truly great) fps games, i havent had the chance to get into any recent rpgs. what would the [h]orde suggest to help be get back into the rpg genre? i would like something that can make...
just installed 174.74 yesterday after realizing mine were outdated. and now it wont load any story missions. terrorist hunt still works just fine, though. could it be a bad install?
for the most part, its been the same for me, but for some reason, the rec center just doesnt want to wake up in he morning. terrorist hunt works fine, the other story missions ive unlocked thus far work fine. it really is just the rec center as far as i can tell.
figured out why it wasnt detecting the cd. apparently, it doesnt behave very well in the presence of poweriso. its still locking up a ton, though. is this a driver issue, or is r6 vegas 2 just that much of a mess?
