To help decrease the load time, you can always remove the skin in CCC. Preferences -> Skins -> System Skin It will leave CCC looking like the rest of your OS's windows. It helps cut load time by a few seconds.

The R520 and R580 both have 16 pipelines. The difference is the ALU design architecture of the R580. Its performance is equivalent to that of an asic with 48 pipes. It doesn't physically have 48 pipes. :rolleyes:
