actually, the earlier TJ-07's were all custom fitted with their side panels and this made it time consuming and thus one of the factors for the high price, now they are all made at the same time from a new process and because they sell at such a high price before, why lower it.
get in touch with this guy, he is one of the managers at silverstone, he should be able to help you out, i think he said that they cost about $9 for 2 of them, but i could be mistaken

just because you dont seem to like the case doesnt mean anyone else shares your opinion, i have the case and love it, i thought about getting this caster set myself for it. and with the post just above this one, i guess he really didnt have to wait that long to find someone with the casters...

i have the same issue with mine, the left side panel will slide all of the way except the last 1/2 inch, have to wiggle it and then force it into place. i also noticed that adding pci cards were a pain aswell. not to mention the other issues i have had with them. has anyone had an issue with the...
I just ordered a new TJ-07 2 days ago, would have taken pics of everything together and posted them, but it will be taking longer then i expected. The case seems to be on back order now. :mad:
have you cut the window out for this mod yet?
if not, you could always use a washer that has a 1/4" thickness between outside diameter and inside diameter, using the hole you cut out for the window, lat it flat onto what you want to cut out, put the washer inside the hole and put a pen inside...

if your really determined to pull the fan apart...
remove the sticker off of the middle of the fan, remove the split washer out of the hole and the fan should just pull apart, make sue you do not discart the sticker as you will need it to place back over the hole after you put it all back...

the best place to find something like that would be an autobody shop, try ford as they are used to hold the skirting on that is just below the bumper of aerostar minivans, they may even give you some just for something to do. but im not sure that they are exactly the same thing though
or if you dont want something see-through, thry to find some solid color shelf paper. if after a while you dont like it, you can always remove the paper, or the tint
