Actually, I heard from a guy that knows a dude that once went to a place that had a computer and he met a waitress who told him that she overheard two guys in white coats talking in the alley when she was taking out the trash on a Thursday that they heard from a friend of a friend that Stanford...

Is there a list of NVIDIA GPUs floating around that ranks them in terms of Folding performance?
I picked up a 8800GT from BB on clearance a couple days ago and it looks like it is going to easily produce over 4800 PPD at stock clocks.
Actually, I heard that the last folding project is slated to be working on a cure for the addiction to folding. I see that becoming a vicious cycle.......

Smoke had the same problem with a Gigabyte recently with one of his new quads. Not sure if it was the same board, but it was the same problem. He got a Abit IP35-E to replace it.
MicroCenter still has the Q6600 for $199 through the end of the month if you live near one.
If you go with a micro atx board, the PSU in this case will be good enough I think. You'll just have to paint two of the cases. ;)...
So, I was about to post a auction on eBay and the transformer on my DGL4300 died. The most amazing thing happened next......my folding boxen didn't miss a beat. I sprung into action and replaced the router with my spare and the boxen continued to fold.
So a big thank you to me for saving my...
