Wow ran on my 701 4g during the brief time I had windows on it. Everything on minimum, it did ok for chatting or checking the AH, but I wouldn't try to actually play on it. Not even just grinding.

As far as I am aware there is no laptop which uses a buckling spring keyboard. The buckling spring mechanism (clacky keys and GREAT tactile feel) is way too thick to make it into a laptop. If one existed I'd buy it.

K3b will still work. Just sudo apt-get install k3b to install it on Ubuntu, or use Kubuntu instead, it's Ubuntu with the kde desktop installed by default instead of gnome. That's what I use on my laptop :)
