Good news to report on this issue.
I believe my PSU was doing what was described in the review and shutting down under moderate load, but Corsair has taken great care of the issue and updated the RM750\850 to fix it.
They've quickly shipped me out an updated unit at no cost to myself, and I...
I don't see a big issue with the build quality of the RM series PSU's, just seems to be an issue with the fan waiting a touch too long to come on and causing some heat to build up a little too much. Hopefully a minor tweak and things will be fine?
That sucks, bought one last week. It's been working fine (and quiet) so far, but now I'm not too happy with this shut down issue. 35c ambient....no air flow. Pfft
Trying to RMA it using the links at the end of the article is proving to be a chore so far.
Can't even create a ticket in their...
The Dell is "Wide color gamut" the Benq is NOT. If you wan't acurate colors you should go with the Benq. I did...and I'm happy with it.
The Benq is really one of the best MVA panel screens there is right now, and it has pretty much no input lag (9ms) either.
It's really a great screen...
Right now that would be about $160 USD.
Paypal's easy to check the rates.
BTW, Anyone interested in a purchase, I will accept Paypal. We will have to work out actual shipping charges to your destination. I'm not looking to make any money on shipping, just the fair and actual price.
Nice review\Pics. What are your thoughts on the ghosting? Like when moving this forum page window around, or anywhere theres grey to black transitions or dark colors on grey
Mine ghosts quite a bit in these situations. It's the only thing this monitor does that I'm a little dissapointed with.
The 16ms this panel puts out is definitely a little slow. I notice it quite often. Unfortunately if you hate TN panels you're options are limited when it comes to large screens (24" and up) with good response times. I don't think there's too many that are better in any way.
The good news is...
Viewsonic VX2025WM 20.1", 8ms, DVI\VGA Widescreen LCD. This monitor is perfect (No dead\bad pixels) and has a superior P-MVA panel for great viewing angles & color reproduction.
Not even a mark on it, this is in A1 condition. Comes in original retail box with DVI\VGA & Power cables.
$170...
They're both good screens. The IPS will be a little better than the MVA, so I guess it depends on the price difference to you.
I have the FP241VW and I'm happy with it.
Just picked up one of these monitors the other day myself. It's definitely a nice unit, good contrast, colors are very accurate from what I can see, and the input lag is very low compared to most. (I'm sensitive to input lag, so trust me..it's not bad at all compared to samsung and others in a...
Thanks for this tip with the FP241VW!
I thought it felt a little laggy without using the video card (Nvidia) scaler as well as the one in the monitor set to 1:1.....and you've confirmed what I felt. It isn't terrible lag, but is quite noticably worse. With it set using both the cards scaler...
Looks like TN to me. I've seen some Soyo 24"'s with the TN's in them already in stores. They're making a switch on them for sure. Maybe do an exchange if you can.
No doubt that the 245BW will have poorer viewing angles etc becasue it's TN, but in games your current monitor is one of the best due to its low lag and response times.
Best of luck with the 275T Plus, I wish input lag wasn't an issue for me, but unfortunately it is something I'm sensitive to...
You wouldn't notice any input lag with a 245BW, it doesn't have very much because it's a TN panel monitor. Probably less than 10ms average input lag on it...compared to 60-70ms on the 275\245T. (S-PVA)
I have to chime in here because that's just flat out wrong. It's been proven over....and over again by many people.

I disagree when it comes to input lag being hard to notice. The 275T I had was delayed quite a bit, even scrolling webpages you could feel a delay from the time you rolled the wheel to the time the page moved. Scroll down and then up right away, do you feel the mush\delay in response at the...
How about telling me the input lag times on that monitor then? I'm having a hard time believing that IPS is worse than 60ms for input lag than a VA panel display.
Those input lag times are terrible.
That really ruins my plans of trying one of these monitors. I can't believe this issue isn't more well know by now. It's really easy to feel 60ms, even just using the desktop mouse movement.
