Is there a benefit to using a PCIe x1 card over a USB 2.0 wireless adapter?

The motherboard uses a Killer NIC and I'm wondering if it has wireless capability. It's listed as just a LAN chip with no mention of wireless. Ethernet is not an option in my home, so networking has to be wireless.
