I have the 2407 and although it is verrrrrrry faint, and only visible when actually looking 2 inches away from the monitor while looking for imperfections in the gradients, I believe it is fixed in A02 revisions.

Just recieved my A02 in the mail and I must say, vertical and horizontal gradients look perfect. Definately improved from my A00 that I recieved to begin with. Looks like I'll be keepin this one. :D

i've heard rumours that they're going to be updating the hardware in the 2407's to fix all banding issues, including the ones in the A02's with vertical banding. Hope we can exchange it without having to worry about the 21 day return policy.

i'd say necessity. im havin tons of trouble on 1gb, which is why I ordered 2 more gb's. 3gb's of fun!

can you post some pictures of gradients? wanna see if its noticeable in A02.

the poping is due to electrical fields in the area, make sure its clear of your computer tower, monitor, all that jazz... even a surge in the power connector itself can cause the pop. When I turn on my washer or dryer which are on the same breaker, it'll pop as I dont have my speakers on a surge...

alright, what about another question.... if i get the 2x1gb kit from OCZ, same timings, still can run in Dual Channel? (im pretty sure my mobo can accept 3gb of ram)

just got my display, its REV00, blahh...... can notice some banding on gradients in photoshop but that gradient testing thing looks fine. looks like im goin to return this one. edit: banding is definately noticable in the games and multimedia settings, but not as much in the desktop setting.
