If there is one thing I have noticed about "cord-cutters" its that they can't stop telling you how great not having cable is. Guess what, I don't care. I wish to keep cable.
Where I work if your manager notices you working > 40 hrs a week regularly they will often talk to you and remind you to keep a good work life balance and not spend too much time at work.
No....just no. There are some SITUATIONS that will see no benefit, just like Mantle, but there are many that will, especially if you don't have a high end CPU.
"absolutely will not help performance" - that is ridiculous.
I think it is sql server causing that. When it fills up open task manager and stop the MSSQL service and see if it drops down to normal levels. I have had problems on my dev machine before where I had to set SQL's ram limit or else it would use up all my machine's ram. And, like your images...
No matter what game you say has the most hacks, unless you say Medal of Honor Allied Assault you are simply wrong. The game had no anti cheat. (excluding 3rd party ones that came around late in the game's life.)
Pretty accurate in my region, if I select years of experience & job title. This is far below the NATIONAL average but cost of living is far below the national average as well. Which is why national averages are completely pointless.
Its called teamwork. Its really not that hard to take out a take when multiple infantry work together. 1 person should not be able to take out a tank without extreme skill/luck.
Here in the Kansas City area Google Fiber is making the other ISPs (Timewarner and Comcast, depending on the area) get their act together. Comcast is offering 250 Mb/s internet for insanely cheap (relatively speaking).

2. To all the tinfoil hats, using a mobile banking app does not "put your banking info on your phone". It (should at least) requires a password to access data...
Wow. Did he do all that hard hitting research in his ass? One sentence he claims the current tablet market is >= the current PC market. A few sentences later he says IDC predicts PC sales will still dwarf tablet sales. What is he smoking?
A couple of my friends want the power/flexibility of PC gaming but to do it on a TV (not that they can't already....but I digress). I'm not one of those people and I can't imagine its a huge market. If they were to develop some must have exclusives that might make things more interesting.
You can continue crying all you want about the start screen reducing productivity - but its not true. In 8.1 there is simply no point it time when you have to open the start screen. EVER. Search is no longer full screen. And if you use the mouse to navigate the start menu in Windows 7 your...
No it doesn't. There are far greater bottlenecks than what you write your code in. Not to mention any good IDE (i.e. Visual Studio) will let you operate as if the GUI isn't even there if you so choose, and extensions will let you use the text editor just like vim.
