Do not try that, if you do not even plan to use your receiver as pass-thru for video (ie, 1920x1200 will not be possible through DHMI). Most likely sound is only carried over HDMI if you enable video as well. If you disable that monitor output, sound goes out as well.

The same kid that contacted my friend who was selling CoD PC Steam coupon and after arranged meeting asking for the game disk and has no idea what Steam is... Yeah, these people better off just get scammed.
My last repair with Elliot and went kaboom after 1 day of use (posted earlier in this thread), I sent that back to Elliot for warranty, that was almost half year ago. He still is not replying my inquiries via PM in this form despite that he monitors PM here due to email problems. It's been 1...
That's Canada, but I think it's the same in US. Both caller and receiver get charged on their minutes. The same goes to text messages if you are not on unlimited plan.
Cat1yst, and todlerix you are NOT getting phones cheaper than the rest of the world. In fact you are mortgaging the phone at extremely high interest rate, which is why our north american wireless rate is so high with long term contracts (2 years for US, 3 years for Canada).
Your paying less...

For Receiver I am looking at Onkyo...
From the rumor mill, those raises are not really that big of a raise. Yes base wage was raised but they stopped paying OT. And those workers are still required to work OT, so there you go.
Quick update: After 2 days of use, elliott repaired sub just blew up with loud scratch noise, now it's completely dead.... I really don't feel like going through all the shipping cost, delay, wait again even if he honors his warranty.
Got the repaired amp from Elliott, it seems to work fine now. There is only a tiny issue that the black sub connector on the board is now too big for the plug, had to use pliter to widen the plug. The label for the connector is differet now too, use to be just + and -. Now it's T1 and T2...
You are lucky he replied your email. He has my sub for over 3 months (he received mine in early December 2009), and so far has been ignoring all my emails sent in between January 2010 until now. I am trying to be considerate and not spamming him with inquiries so I've only sent 1 request each...

Exactly, those wealthy people (very minority) in China that wants an iPhone already got one from gray market. The China edition of iPhone also lacks WiFi access (due to government ban) and costs more then gray market import, go figure.

Still does not offer AM radio, not interested. If I want music, I would listen to my own music collection, I want AM radio for my local news talk stations.
What I don't get is this......
"Time Warner shares rose 2 cents to close at $27.60 on the New York Stock Exchange. Google shares fell $1.92 to close at $444.80 on the Nasdaq stock market."
Does general public think Google made a bad move by selling stock on a dying company at extremely high...
There is something I have been wondering for a while, about the orientation of heat-pipe heatsinks. Most of those pipes are designed to use in a mobo setup is flat on table and the pips point straight up and that is how almost every reviews on internet tested.
However, most people install these...
This idea is not new, and actually implemented better in an anime this season called "Eden of the East" Where you can take a photo or point your phone camera to something and immediately comes up with information about said person or object. This even allows others to comment and add to the...
Of course you can start a democracy club, just have to be in secret. You can not openly recruit or promote your club or you will get harassed by local officals / police. Or just suddently been taken away and beaten / tortured to pulp. Worse yet, just disappear without a trace, which has been...

I need a direct download file hosting service that works with my software's background update service.
I need to find a file hosting service that does direct access with URL without opening another web page to click on download link. Is there any thing I can use? Either free or subscription is ok.
I used to use streamload before they went to crap, and the service I am currently using...
