The Asus matrix will have to realize there is no spoon, and that it is the one. I mean why is that so difficult to realize? Poseidon I'll have to take it out for a limoncello. It just seems like the right thing to do. :D
I'd like to see a gun metal grey with red accents. Also a white case with blue accents could be very clean looking. Load it up with some blue lights...
Sweet! I could finally run my simulation and train against fighting evil Abe in the coming zombie apocalypse. All in freaking sweet DX11, OC'd so hard it does laps about the LHC, and tessellation to the max! Oh, I'm bringing back the phrase "to the max". :D
haha seriously! Can only hope that they offer a little more than slightly updated graphics/menus, and maybe a better hit box system? Been playing since 1999 and it hasn't changed a whole lot. They need to make some bigger changes to keep with some of the amazing stuff out right now.
Where can you get tickets for under $8?! Everything here is over $11, not to mention if you were going to go see a POS 3D movie on the weekend in IMAX (even the fake rebranded IMAX) then its more like $20. Greedy bastards is right. Netflix and even Blockbuster FTW. Much better deals, and I...
People like mindless games. And if they are free, and browser based it opens it up to anyone with a computer. Then you take the same game and put different things around it so they seem different but appeal to different groups then you can attract almost anyone. Doesn't make them better though.
If you don't mind the old school graphics a great freebie is Urban Terror. It's based off the Quake 3 engine (so very aged by today's standards) but it is pretty fun and can run on almost anything.
The CPU is generally not a bottle neck as most games are written to put their computing on the GPU. One easy way to see is if you have a demanding game open pull up your task manager and see if the CPU is at 100%. I had an AMD 4200 dual core CPU for 6 years before it just couldn't take the...
Works just fine on my 4890. Using DVI to HDMI converter and have a HDMI cable going into my receiver which goes into the TV. I had to change my TV (a samsung) from auto scan size to 16:9 to get rid of a black border around the edge. No issues other than that.
You are cutting it pretty tight on that 300w PSU. Most that low would need a dedicated graphics in the mobo (in my opinion) Upgrading the PSU will give a much larger range of options without the potential for problems.
I don't know if I should be excited or scared. It took them quite a few patches to really get BC2 going (though it really kicks butt). I'd just hate for that to be the same case, but like the rest of you I'll prob end up getting it :D
So true, not to mention with the price dropping people are spending the same that they did but getting more bang for their buck. Definately worth the "extra" for getting better hardware.
