I have a TX750M that has been holding up well for a a little over a year. I'm running an i5 3570k overclocked to 4.4 and a Radeon 7990 and I'm having no issues with it. It is a solid PSU, and I have never heard the fan over the others fans in my rig.
As MacLeod said, it's not as good as the...
I have the exact same keyboard and the keyboard LEDs do not stay lit when the computer shuts down. I wonder if it is a motherboard setting, similar to Gigabyte's technology that allows USB charging when the computer is off?
I own a G35 and a G930, and I will say that these things are not built quite as well as the G35, which was reliable as a brick for me. I do not actually own this particular G430, but I have used them. For $40, I would say this is definitely worth it, but it is not as well-built as the G35.
Downloaded the demo and played with it. I can see a lot of potential in something like this.
Is it completely like working on a real car? Nope. Is any "simulator" out there really like doing whatever it's simulating? Nope. Does "Car Mechanic Simulator" come relatively close? Maybe.
You...
I have a friend who helps coordinate a bus trip to Washington DC each year. She has asked me if there is a program that would allow people to sign up for a bus and a hotel room, and then people would be able to view how many seats were left on each bus, and how many spots in each hotel room...
Echoing what others have said, I think the Illuminated Keyboard is a more solid feeling keyboard, but the K800 is an excellent choice. It feels a lot more plasticky than the Illuminated, but, in my experience, the K800 is still plenty durable. I dropped mine around 4 feet onto concrete on my way...
I have used Blues and Browns and prefer Browns. Reds are nice if I used my main rig for strictly gaming, but since I do a fair amount of typing as well, I much prefer some tactile feedback, but MX Blues are way too loud for my dorm when typing late at night.
Received this key code with an AMD A10 processor I bought for my HTPC and don't need it. Asking $10, Paypal preferred. I have sold on here before, and have Heat under TheLordsServant.
Picture of card with unscratched code:
All GPUs have a point where the card will start reducing its clock speeds to lower heat output. I believe the GTX 670 starts throttling at 80 Celsius, so you are still below this by a fair margin. Not that it's completely relevant in this case, but my Fermi GTX 580 frequently hits 80-85 celsius...
I have this http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Handheld-Keyboard-Multi-Touchpad-Pointer/dp/B005C6CVAE/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1373779756&sr=8-7&keywords=mini+bluetooth+keyboard
Not the best keyboard out there, but for controlling a media PC, it's fine. Definitely wouldn't want to type a long email...
Greetings all,
I am currently using a pair of Cerwin Vega XD3 speakers for music purposes. I do a little bit of gaming, and the occasional movie on my rig, but essentially I'm just looking for clean, high quality audio. The problem is that I listen to a very wide variety of music, so I need some...
I have the D90, and have had it for a year. As Jinto mentioned, the backlit top LCD is a great tool to have, and I use mine all the time. Additionally, while the D5100 looks better on paper, I have a friend who has the D5100, and while it has a much better movie mode, I don't think the image...
My favorite Seasonic product is the X750/X850. I have used these two models of power supply extensively in builds for friends and family, and not one has suffered a failure. They are built very well, with high quality components, such as industry-leading capacitor choice, great power filtering...
I doubt the power supply is the issue here. He has a quality 550w unit that offers 44 amps on the +12v rail. I'm running an i5 3570k at 4.6 and a 7970 OC on an Antec 550w with 37 amps on the +12v rail and it has no issues whatsoever.
Just a bump for a spectacular trader. Bought a 3007WFP a while back and it came packed better than one straight from the factory, and shipped pretty much instantaneously.
Not a bad deal for those who don't live near a Microcenter, or don't have to pay tax at Tiger:

What do you use and why? I use a Logitech G700. I wanted something wireless, with plenty of buttons, and rechargeable so I don't have to replace batteries constantly.
What are the best mice? I would say the ones that are comfortable, have a scroll wheel that is capable of free-spinning, and...
While I agree the G700 wheel cosmetically is identical to the M705, it's just slightly stiffer, and, in the "clicky" mode, I find it very easy to press as a button whereas the M705 was nearly impossible. I don't find my battery life as abysmal as raclimj, but perhaps that is just my usage...
I'm currently using a G700 and love it. I came from the M705, which, I will agree had a scroll wheel that was very difficult to actually click without scrolling a line or two.
Anyway, back to the G700. It is a rechargeable mouse, but it simply uses a Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable AA in the...
I have transferred a system to a new case. I didn't find it all that difficult, it's essentially like building a new machine all over again, so I didn't find it to be too difficult.
As for thermal paste, I have always had good luck with Arctic Silver 5. I use rubbing alcohol and paper towels...
I have a Dell 3007Wfp that has some smudges on it that look like fingerprint smudges, only when I clean the monitor with some electronics cleaning wipes, they don't come off. Any idea what these might be, and how to get them off?
I have a 37" 1920X1080 TV as my current monitor. Don't really do much gaming, so it's primary use is movies and using a music stand for digital sheet music (I play violin.) When I'm actually doing things with it, my eye is between 2-2.5 feet away.
A 7970 Ghz edition is a standard 7970 that has been factory overclocked to improve the out-of-the-box performance. Since you're planning on overclocking the card yourself, then there is little reason to buy a factory overclocked GPU. I would say save some money and buy the standard 7970.
I picked up a couple because I have been wanting a bluetooth mouse for my ultrabook, seeing as it only has two USB ports. This will be for only occasional use, so I imagine it can't be too terrible.
This seems to be somewhat of an extension on the Livescribe smartpens that are quite popular at my school. It's cool to see technology being brought to such decidedly low-tech products like a notebook.
First of all, I want to make it clear that the Radeon 7950 and the Nvidia GTX660Ti are both excellent cards. The Radeon 7950 and the 660Ti come in at identical price points, but the 7950 is overall around 20% faster in most games. Is it "head and shoulders" above the GTX660Ti? In some games...
I doubt the 12v 500ma adapter will work, because the drive requires much higher amperage requirements than that. It is highly unlikely that it will damage the drive, so I think it would be worth a try to try and power it up with the 12v 500ma adapter, but I wouldn't get your hopes up that it...
I'll just throw in my bit of personal experience.
I had a AMD Phenom 1055T overclocked to 3.8ghz and a PNY GTX580 running on a 550w Antec BP550 for about six months, and experienced no issues. My motherboard fried at that point, (My fault, I was trying to push 4.0ghz) so I upgraded to an i5...
