This is total BS. Maybe you are thinking of another MMORPG. When Blizzard counted accounts, they didn't count Trials, cancelled accounts or other such things. Just accounts that are currently being paid for, arn't cancelled and are in game time (As in, the people are playing)
WoW still has...
Yea I think I'm just going to wait for the Mac Pros to come out. Any word on when that is? Hopefully it will give me enough time to amas the vast sums of cash required to purchase it.
Why do you even need a laptop? You could save alot of money and just get a (faster) iMac
Or even (If you don't need bootcamp) a Powermac (and then buy a faster mac-compatible card)
I need to keep myself busy over the summer so I decided I am going to learn C++. Now then my programming experience at the moment is kind of limited. I just finished my last semester of grade 11 and during that semester (about 5 1/2 months) I learned java (for my CS class). My last project was...
No it sais "When the person upgrades to a full month and pays for their first month of game time" since you get a month when you upgrade to a full month I can only presume that it means when the person starts their full account.
How is this taking advantage? It's not like the account won't work or something. The guy is going to make an account anyway, he might as well help someone else.
I suppose it's win-neutral if you want to get technical (But I suppose starting a WoW account coupled with the thought of helping...
DON'T
It's horrid. A massive grind, you can't do ANYTHING yourself, it's really bad and boring.
It's basically one massive grind from start to finish. It's not even fun just "Kill 1000 blu crabs, kil 1500 red snakes, now you can kill 2000 red crabs!".
Really shite.
I was wondering how the iMacs (intel) performed in terms of video editing? For someone who does smallish movies (10-20 minutes) and who is going to film school in a year, is an iMac suitable, or would waiting for the Powermacs be more worth it?
I'm asking because I was at the store today...
I don't know if this is against the rules or what but whatever.
Incase you didn't know, a while ago Blizzard gave every account 10 trial account keys to send to friends. If anyone you send a key to buys their first month of game time, you get a free month of time (as in, the sender gets a...
SIMULATING IT'S FAKING Dx10 IT'S NOT ACTUALLY RUNNING IT I KNOW
It's like a flight sim game, I KNOW I am not actually flying an F-14, I'm SIMULATING flying an F-14
I dunno, I usually play on Low horde to alliance ratio servers (as in less horde) and horde in general always seem more mature and easier to get help from.
Plus I just fucking hate gnomes.
I don't know about the crashing, it's either something with your computer or drivers.
WoW isn't that graphically intensive. I have 512mb of ram, a geforce 6200 and a 2.0ghz P4 and I run the game full and it's fine.
Yes you can solo the whole game, if that's your thing.
Ya you'll do fine by...
I saw a video-interview where they said "Dual 7900gtxs brute forcing Dx10" as well as a video with 2 ATI guys showing off Dx10 with dual (I think) x1900xts also simulating Dx10 with brute force".
It's possible, but it's very rough. The biggest difference with Dx10 is the new overhead, with...
I have a question about titans quest. Is it like diablo where you have like :RAnger(female), barbarian(male) etc? Or is it like "Choose class-> choose sex"?
No Shit?
Seriosuly this is a stupid statement. It was always being touted as a next gen Dx10 game. All the 7800gtxs and x1900xts won't run the game in full glory. At the moment they are only "Forcing" Dx9 cards to simulate Dx10, which accounts for the slow frames.
It's not an "Artificial restriction" or something. WIndows XP and modern OSs greatly different from the WIndowx 9x systems. Unless you Are some amazing super hacker you won't ever get it working yourself..........................................
I hope they ditch them. Here classes would suck for anything other then e-pennis waving.
Just make the lvl 60-lvl 70 grind long and hard and I'll be happy.
My friend emailed me a movie he made but I can't watch it, whenever it tries to play the top quicktime sais "FNF_Loading" and then the quicktime popup saying that the codec required is missing, is there any way to found out which codec the movie was encoded in?
It's not a MMORPG by definition because it is not a persistant world, it's a series of single player worlds with online support connected by graphical chatrooms. It's like CS or UT, those arn't MMOs, and neither is guild wars.
Damnit, start your own "Is guildwars a MMO" thread if you want to...
This is how I define a MMORPG:
If I make a character on a server, then I meet some other guy, and we play together for a bit, then we go our seperate ways, if 2 years later, I could log back onto that character, and meet that guy in the same world, it's a MMO.
Guild wars isn't a MMORPG...
Iw ill admit that my MMORPG experience is rather limited, to WoW and EQ2. However, is there a mmorpg that fits my needs? I quit WoW because although it was fun at first, it then started getting tedious. It wasn't challenging it was boring, fighting 1200 monsters for 3 hours just to watch my...
Hurr
I tried setting up a proxy connection but none of them worked, still gives me the same stuff, even tried "What's my proxy dot com" and it showed the correct proxy address, but it didn't work. Chances are it's because of my lame internet connection.
Damnit, somebody upload the venture...
Do you have any links on how to set up a proxy? I have never done that before. I'm using Firefox by the way.
I'm in Canada also. This bugs me because taking a day trip to america is no problem for me. So why can't I watch it?
This site requires me to be "In the continental United States to watch" which is total bullshit since I live like a 30 minute drive away from the US.
Is there any way to get past this?
