I guess thats a decent score (I have 8 games). Some games that I have like Burnout require you to be pretty much perfect to get any achievements while some like Perfect Dark Zero have a ton that are multiplayer based (I really don't play the game online at all..not for me).
Well if you set up your options in the game first including changing the aspect ratio to 16:9/16:10 then the "seta_r aspectratio" line should be in the config file. For me that line was near the bottom of the config list.
After. Set all your visual options first. Exit the game then edit the config file. If you go back into the video options after editing it the res may go back to the default 4:3 (640x480??!..nasty!).
I think FEAR had this exact same problem.
You have to fool around with the preyconfig.cfg file exactly the same way as other Doom 3 engine games. Its a shame that there are no widescreen resolutions right in the game (the game lets you pick aspect ratio but no WS res  ) but a little editing and you'll get the 1680x1050...
heh..I get the exact same problem with my X1800XT and Dell 2005fpw. It doesn't happen all the time though. I suppose it happens 1 out of every 10 cold boots (not an exact number of course but you get the point). Not a big deal really unless it does it every time. I'm glad to see that...
One could argue that the Sega Saturn (which I loved to death) had the best 2D fighters too! All the great Capcom fighters like the entire Street Fighter Alpha series, Street Fighter Collection, Xmen vs Streetfighter (I was blown away by the perfect port when it first came out years ago), Marvel...
Does the DFI board accept X2 cpu's? I'm in the same boat as the OP in that I want the best non-sli mobo but I also intend on getting a dual core cpu. I'll be upgrading to a whole new pc sometime between Jan 1 and March so I'm now thinking about all the parts I want to get.
Boy do I adore the great Castlevania series. From the original on the NES to Castlevania 4 on the SNES, Bloodlines on the Genesis, Dracula X on the PC Engine CD..and of course there's Symphony of the Night.
I'm no handheld gamer but the GBA and the DS Castlevania games are just excellent...

No dead pixels but I am now starting to notice the backlight bleeding. Its not always noticable though. Since I just got the monitor I honesly don't care at the moment. If it does get worse then I'll just get it replaced (since I have a 3 year warranty)..no...
I bought a 2005fpw and its my first lcd monitor..so far I'm loving it and games like Half Life 2 and FarCry look fantastic at 1680x1050 res.
I just wanted to know if its worth using that 2005fpw INF file in the dell cd that came with the monitor. I only ask this since I'm wondering if...
Looks like I'll have to wait until I get the code via the instant win/regift game as the code didn't work for me. I hope there will be more coupon code and stuff for this or the 2405 cause the tax just kills just about any deal for me (its almost $40 in taxes alone..freakin NY tax is...
Well..if you are gonna sell the monitor and its in mint condition with no dead pixel issues and stuff (and any stuff that came with the monitor) be sure to give first dibs to the folks here..in particular ME. I had enough of my bulky 4 year old crt.
As for the whole girlfriend thing...
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. I've had it for about 4 years and never thought of any reason why I should ever get another card. I've thought about using the soundstorm audio on my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe but I need some optical thing from a receiver right to get the real soundstorm right? Is it...
WHOA!!! For the past couple of days I've been experiencing random freezes when I reinstalled windows xp and installed the latest Marvell Gigabit LAN drivers from windows update (yea yea.. stupid move...never will I install anything from there except for critical updates).
My pc would...
