Somehow I have moved my start screen to my secondary screen from my main screen. To clarify, the start screen is coming up on the screen without the default taskbar with the time etc. Anyone know how to push it back to my main screen?
Thanks in advance.
For cheap closed headphones I like the JVC HA-RX700 in the $35-$40 dollar range.
For nice entry level open phones, I love my Alessandro MS1's. They are equivalent to Grado 125's but only $99.
I was troubleshooting a guys computer today. He is using yahoo messenger to talk to a woman in vietnam over video, he said that he cannot hear her voice. The error says maybe the mic is at fault on her end. BUT, she claims that she can talk just fine to everyone else. Also he has said that it is...
I use my zune inside my car, because CD's are just too much of a hassle... and even on my zune I organize by artist... It seems so much easier for me to know the artist of a song, and then when I want to listen to the song... I can just go to the artist... *shrugs*
So maybe I am missing out on something here...
I don't use playlists? Maybe I am weird?
I just use foobar2000 and sort my file heirarchy... Then I can find and listen to whatever song I want, rather than having a playlist. Seems to work for me.
and so that I am not totally thread crapping...
I hook my JVC HA-RX700's up to my Onkyo SR304 Reciever. It usually defaults to stereo. When in stereo the headphones have a ton of static, and then I change to Direct mode, and the static disappears and its clear as a bell.
So my question is, what is the difference between stereo and direct...
Basically what the break-in period does is allow the drivers in the headphones to essentially "stretch their legs" These headphones sounded very muffled and the bass was pretty poor when I first got them, I gave them 12 hours of pink noise, and 6 hours of a 25Hz loop, and they sounded a ton...
I <3 these headphones, best money I have ever spent. I have no idea what they sound like unmodded, but some dynamat and cotton stuffing go a LONG way.. haha
Go Snohomish! I live there so I am biased... but seriously??? its like meth country over here... right next to good ol' Granite Falls... Meth capital of the US... haha
ok so those are RCA connections aka coaxial. So imagine the red and white connectors on the back of your television. The speakers connect to the back of your reciever are used for older recievers I think... I have never had to use them before, I just use a coaxial cable such as the first shown...
Photoshop for the win. Hope that helps. :)
Edit: Well if my memory serves me right, a subwoofer is mono, and the sub manual says to use the right red input. :)

To satisfy your curiosity, a link to the subwoofer alone. Look at the picture of the back :)
Coax. Done and done :-D
*Inputs: RCA line level & speaker level
The subwoofer has both RCA and speaker level connections, a previous poster said that RCA = coaxial. Your reciever has a sub out connection which is a coax connector. So all you do is connect a coax cable from your subout to your subwoofer. It will...
So right now I have an extremely old Audigy 2 value sound card that I swear I have had since 1999... haha Anyhow, I am assuming that sound card hardware is MUCH better than what I have now.
So my question is that. Will I see a noticeable difference in sound quality if I upgrade to an...
I just got into the photography game, never had a camera... Always used a camera phone. So recently I decided to see if this was my coup de gras.. Here are a couple pics, plz criticize to the max. :-D Thanks
This is going to sound really weird and maybe a wee bit far fetched, but one day I was using foobar2000 and I put the fooAvA theme on foobar, and the sound went to shit.
Does Media Player Classic need a codec to offload HD content from the cpu to the graphics card, or do I need to install any drivers? I have an ATI 3650, and it says its capable, just don't know if it doing its thing... lol
Not sure if this is new...
Cause I have been working my way around videos that are linked redirects and so on and so forth, I don't see why they can't post a video that is going to need a "codec"...

Do NOT buy from eCost. I bought a 37" westy from them. They shipped it to me and DHL left it at my door! Their shipping rules say to test the TV before DHL leaves and if it doesnt work, send it back. Well, since they left it at my door that wasn't going to happen. So I opened the box and plugged...
I bought my insignias way back when they were 50 dollars and got em on sale for 30... That was the best 30 dollars I have ever spent.... Are they worth 90? I would say yes and no, there are some 50 dollar polks that might be more worth your money. But I LOVE my insignias. :-D Oh and for the...
I would recommend Insignia's at Best Buy. Gosh now they are 90 dollars... but I got mine for under 50 a pair, and I think they sound great for the price that I payed for them. Plus they are shiney black and they look awesome with the carbon fiber cones.
Heres a link...
All I have to say is... Tickle Me Elmo... Anyone remember the Christmas CRAZE of the dreaded elmo? It was so pointless yet every kid wanted (needed) one... This could be the same... *sigh*
I have been using the default Windows Plug and Play drivers forever. Is there any specific reason to use monitor drivers? Does it make the monitor give better color reproduction or something? Basically what is the difference between the generic drivers and specific ones?
I have a pet peeve that I cannot stand people who say GUI as gooey.... I just say G.U.I... haha. I also say I SO and i call exe files a dot E.X.E. file... and SATA I call serial ATA... and SQL I say S.Q.L... I say SLI.... S.L.I.... I love acronyms
Excuse me for my ignorance... but, how are those wires any different from a 3.5mm mini plug to 2 RCA splitter? Anyhow, I would try messing with the speaker and sound settings in Vista, they might only be set to stereo, where you would want it to be 5.1.
