I have another system that I use just as storage. Upon starting it up today, I have noticed that all information in all subfolders are gone. When going to Start-> All Programs they all say "Empty". What could cause this?! I have not done anything but literally turn the system off and back on...

Hi, I'm working on a customers PC and for some reason I grabbed the XP Home disc instead of the XP Pro. Is there anyway to exit the setup process. I am unable to choose "R" to repair install when I boot from CD. Is there anyway around that as well? GRRF!

I can't just end the process, it will reset my windows theme and i have to reinstall Sound drivers. I will check for spyware but I doubt thats it. I'm thinking that it may have something to do with the sound card.

Right now its running at 55,732 with a peak of 156,728. Is there anyway to tell what sub-process is causing this or a fix?

With brand new drivers installed, all I get is a static sound and a prompt to run diagnostics for the card. I tried using the factory cd and they work along with the two versions after that one. But anything newer than that will not allow the TV tuner to work at all. Anyone have any suggestions?
