yup, definately check out Lenovo. i leave my R50e on 24/7 with the fan mod to keep the fan on all the time and it folds at 100% CPU usage. just be sure to undervolt whatever you get to make it run cooler and quieter.

yah, it'll change the speed automatically. my r50e came with the speed step installed if i remember correctly. if not, you could use NHC to manage the cpu speed.

updated: thinkpad is now my workstation. dual monitors. note that the one on the left (thinkpad's) is at 1024x768 while my sony monitor is at 1280x1024 hence why it filled it in with the black spot.

congrats on the purchase! :) i wouldn't be too dissapointed with the 3dmark score. it's only for e pen0r. all that matters is that it gets your favorite games playing. the x600 should be able to play bf2 medium/low settings, fear low/lowest settings/800x600, CoD2, most likely will hurt...
