Allright I bought a new one, should be here tommorow, and lets hope nothing has blown with it
EDIT:
Got my new PSU today (Enermax Liberty 500w) and all the components are still working :D
Hello,
My PSU won't start anymore after cleaning my PC out this day, when it's powered (not on, just powered from the wall) it wil make a high pitches whine. And when trying to start the computer it would do nothing, so I pulled the PSU out en hotwired it and gave it a try, same whine sound...
Hmm ok thx, but replacing it would be kind of hard right now, as it was bought in europe and the store where it's from are having extreme problems with handeling RMA requests the "proper" way, it now takes them like 2 weeks to even reply on a e-mail service has gone down there in the last 3...
Hi,
This is a problem wich I had before, I'am using a M2N-e motherboard together with a x2 3800+, 2gig Kingston, 1950Pro. It al started last year every time I would boot the computer the time/date would be at 00:00:00 01/01/2006 so nothing to worry about right ;) after a while every time I...
I'm using a AC Freezer 64 Pro, today I noticed extreme high temps (50 idle and 60+ load), so opent up my case and found out that one of the clips of the cpubracket holding the hsf down broke off. So any alternative mounting ways?
Just fixed a case fan (92mm side panel) on my TT Tsunami case, the fan was causing the case to vibrate a lot < terrible noise
But poped it open and cleaned / lubed it and I runs near silent now again.
I've got a (pretty dumb) question about the cooler, ac's website states that it has compatibilty for socket am2, is that without any other mounting brackets (eg. a different one for s754 and a different one for s939).
I'am asking this because some web-shops who list the cooler say it's...
I ran both programms (RTHDRIBL and Orthos) when testing with the multimeter,
about the hd, I recently (2 days) ago formatted my hd and reinstalled windows because I thought the crashes came from driver conflicts but that didn't seem to be it because is still crashes only it crashed less...
I just tested my psu with a multimeter (no idea however how accurate the meter is) I shows something really different than the software apps did:
idle:
+12v: 12.05v
+5v: 5.15v
load:
+12v: 11.95v
+5v: 5.14v
pretty acceptable isn't it?
So what if the psu isn't the cullprit...
The psu is a thermaltake silent purepower 410w with these ratings:
+5v: 40A
+12v: 18A
+3.3v: 28A
And these are the actual readings (from everest):
+3.3v: 3.43v
+5v: 4.76v
+12v: 11.46v AND 11.33v under full load of both cores
The psu should be able to handle it I used to run a...
I have some strange stability issues with my pc atm,
It's not the ram (it's 8 hours memtest stable)
I sometimes have random reboots, usualy when trying to load some things like opening a program or so but I doesn't crash/ reboot when gaming so i'm a bit confused about the cause of the...
I think it's kind of fixed now, after trying more things including other drivers I now run Forceware 96.89 beta drivers, they don't produce the glitches no matter how many times I loop deep freeze.
Also I didn't notice it in any game anymore lately, and the fan is gone again (2 much noise :D...
I think the fan didn't help, mounted it directly under the videocard (about 3cm under it), case side panel was off, fan was set @3000rpm (12cm TT fan) booted 3dmark ran my 'favorite' test,,, still glitches
So I don't think heat is the problem here?
Are there any other solutions? Or should...
I left everything at stock speed, its a reference 7600 cooler, so the ram isn't coverd, I'll first try with a fan directly blowing at it, that should help shouldn't it?
And about the glitches in games didn't have it until 2day, the system was up voor about 3 hours, been playing some NFS-MW...
bumping my own tread,
i've isolated the problem,
when I run 3dmark'06 i've got the glitches / artefacts on the deep freeze test:
So after that I didn't really care cause all my games ran fine, I was playing bf2 just an hour ago or so and encounterd this:
So I begun testing, first...
Hello,
I bougt an 3d Fuzion 7600gt pci-e card about 1,5 month ago the first 2 weeks it worked perfect but my ram wasn't so I rma'd the ram yesterday I got new good working ram, ran some tests to check stability I also ran 3dmark '06 everything went fine until the Deep Freeze test after a...
as stated here it should indeed be capable of running at that speeds.
I live in europe and I don't know if u guys have an europian support number, but I'am trying to get an RMA from the company wich I bought the memory from.
When all is set to auto it runs at 675 with 5-5-5-15 timmings, that gives error's,
it's now set to 550 at 4-4-4-12 manual, had a quick one pass test of memtest, no errors.
I'm gonna let memtest run for a while in a few hours and see if it runs correct.
Totaly forgot about memtest,
runned it a couple hours ago after 3 passes it showed 5 error's:
2 on test 1 in the first pass
1 on test 4 in the first pass
1 on test 1 in the second pass
1 on test 4 in the third pass
Allright, a week ago I build a new Am2 based computer,
specs;
AMD x2 3800+ cpu
ASUS m2n-e mobo
Corsair TWIN2X2048-5400C4 memory
bfg 7600gt
At first I got some problems with the memory, a bios flash fixed it so I could install windows without problems, I decided to run prime95 to...
So it will al run in single channel mode, if that's it then it may be wise to buy annother 512mb stick to have 4 iddentical sticks for dual channel isn't it?
maybe a n00bish question but here goes;
I'm planning to get a AsRock DualSata2 mobo to replace my msi k8t-neo-fsr2
The msi mobo currently has 1,5 gig pc3200 memory in it (3x512 all single channel)
If I put the 3 sticks in de asrock mobo would one pair run dual channel and the other...
