recently I took mine on a trip to Boston from Seattle, I watched the entire 6th season of Entourage in HD x264 format and still had about 15% battery life left. So 6ish hours of playback on mid level brightness playing HD content through VLC, not to shabby.

Do both internet connections come into 1 router? If so you might be able to do some port forwarding and make it work. What you might have happening is more than 1 service trying to come in on that port and its responding wrong. You can try setting up port forwarding to go from say port...

You can either use Unlocker like a couple posts said before or Boot into a Pe environment Google Bart's PE loader. It works great...I had to do this a couple weeks ago due to a crash of my Even services log...kinda odd but it worked!

What kind of Switch and what kind of router? if its a layer 2 managed switch and a decent router you can set-up 2 vlan's 1 for internet traffic and 1 for internal network sharing... if its a decent router you could do Access control lists but that would be kind of a pain in the ass...

Check with the Company you are doing colo with. Usually they will host DNS for servers on their network.
