I've had my Swift for a little over a fortnight, came from an Eizo foris fg2421 and before that a BenQ 2411XT and 27" Hazro IPS.
It's got no dead or stuck pixels, no backlight bleed and the colours are great. I've no idea how people can claim it's colours are washed out? I've run an Gretag...
I put a loop together over the weekend with one of the MCR220 Drives, I filled it up as much as possible, turned it on for a while and then turned the case through 360 degrees, front, roof, sides etc all for a few minutes, then I went back and added more water,I had to keep putting the cap over...
Hi there,
I've not got any more than the one's that are in the gallery unfortunately, I got so fed up trying to get a decent image from my rubbish camera that I gave up, lol.
Hi erictooth!
Thanks for that, exactly how I tried it, (Win 7 premium 64bit) i'm wondering if it's somehow not recognizing the file, the icon seems to be a setup icon, (small cog), but when I go to 5. it's not seeing it.
Many Thanks for your help by the way, i appreciate it. :)
Thanks for that, i'm probably being a noob but I can't get your file to load. When I go to update the display driver in control panel, it can't see the file even though it's in the folder i'm directing it to, any suggestions?
I thought I'd take ToastyX's settings for a spin and go for a higher refresh rate, unfortunately Control strip doesn't support the 5850. I can load it up but the box for making the adjustments is grayed out. After a bit of digging it seems that it is indeed, not supported. Is there anything else...
Thanks for the reply sippm. I've tried both manually selecting DP in the OSD and letting it find it automatically but "no signal" both ways. Perhaps I'll uninstall the drivers, take out the second card, reinstall and try again.
I just tried a diplay port cable and i'm getting "no signal" come up. This is plugged into HD5850 crossfire, any suggestions? Do i have to reinstall the drivers?
Which settings would users recommend as a starting point?
I've got a Gretag Eye One at work which I can bring home to use but I'm a bit lost on what to do initially, before I run the calibration. The main things i'm not sure on are;
brightness, mode, (native/srgb/1/2/3) and contrast. Also...
I'm really happy with mine (got the black version). I'm in the middle of fitting it out for Watercooling so I've removed the bottom module and fitted a 120.2 rad, it's left enough 5.25's for a raptor and DVD drive.
It's the Neo 2's temperature reading. 50's at idle was a bug IIRC, as far as I know They never fixed it. Use something else to read the temperature, Ntune perhaps? See if that makes a difference.
I get a similar thing with my DFI-SLI-D. When I restart, cold boot etc the chipset fan goes into overdrive, monitor then goes into standby, wait, then it posts. I've tried loads of things, various BIOS's etc can't sort it out.
