As much as it would be difficult not to install one in my PC, the weight of guilt, knowing I'd have effectively stolen 12 top range GPUs wouldnt be worth it.
I'd contact FEDEX and live with a clear conscience, being a firm believer that one way or another you will get what you deserve in the...
I have a hearing problem which means I cannot hear certain high and low frequencies, normal headphones lack the extended higher and lower range that I need.
lol was thinkning the same thing... maybe gigabyte bought out epox? I still use an old athlon xp epox board, never failed on me in 6 years or so... but sureley having a crazy ass radiator like that in a case would add to the heat? needs some serious airflow to shift that... something most...
im not too fussed really, by the time it becomes an issus the pc will have been upgraded and new blocks needed lol. The res is aluminium anyway so hoepfully the fesser water will do its job and minimise and battery effect.

I painted my asus laptop, i just sanded the plastic down a fair bit, used bondo on the plastic to give it a thin coat, sanded again and then primer over the top. that way you dont have to worry about the primer reacting with the plastic. Its been done for over an year now and still looks as good...

What they dont tell you is that the re-claim all the gold from the pc parts and make a tidy sum from selling it. Saw a program about it on the discovery channel the other day!
Id just use a cloth, clearcoat tends to reduce the mirror effect, really nice example of mod here:

ok, 6 colour coats and 3 clear later i have got the top painted, cant sand and buff out the marks, orange peel for at least 20 days tho, nothing worse than doing all that work and finding a few permanent finger prints in the paint coz it hasnt cured properly.
Now i gotta...
If you are going by the case itself (ie not the fans or isolation you use) Id say the stacker as it is a much stronger case design. The main frame is more sturdy so will eliminate most of the vibration noise. And those things are so damn heave without parts in, hate to think what mine will weigh...
Thanks :)
got the first white coat on the case down, damn this thing soaks up some paint, took me 2 1/2 tins to get a good even coat down, got to go buy some more when I get back to work on monday, Have decided to redo the 2 side panels as they have a few chips on the corners, also got some...
I think you are right, i sanded it down with some p80 wet n dry and really gave the metal a good scratching, also turned up the heater in my spray room. Managed to get a perfect finish on it now, so more pics later today :)
ok finished my front panel, just gotta polish it a bit more and fix the lcd to it. just waitng for some dtrong double sided tape to come in post so i can attatch the cadillac logo on properly too.

hehe well you will like what came in the post today too :) not totally sure what i want to do with it yet tho
also got the inside of the side panel painted to, am still undecided on leaving it painted or making a leather inside panel for it.
hehe yeah, as i said i dont get much time to work on it so I guess I have to be patient.
This came in the post today:
Managed to get a genuine Cadillac script from ebay.au, was searching for something else and came across it by co-incidence. Im just finishing painting my front...
Thanks, Ok so ive now updated the pics,
Just trying out the parts for fit and to make sure i like the look this time (dont wanna have to re-do it all again)
as u can see I have now sprayed it with a self etching primer
few more pics today too, excuse the blurry shots, my digi cam just wouldnt focus... good excuse to buy a new one tho.
with mesh placed behind so you get the idea, needs painting before i fit it in place tho.
Thanks, theres still a bit of work before they are finished tho. I started with p180 grade wet and dry paper and worked my way through P320/P600/P800/P1000/P1200 grades until all main scratches were out, then i used p2000 wet and dry to buff and finished with some PEEK metal polish and a lot of...
i just sold my 975 board (P5WDH-DELUXE) and got an Asus Commando (965) and its much better. Faster at stock speeds and much better at overclocking. You wont regret getting one.
tested the ram in my new commando board and the same problem. Ive tried running at 800mhz, relaxing the timings and i still have the same problem.
The only way i can start my system is to reset the bios, boot with a stick of OCZ installed and change voltage to 2.4. Then reboot pc and insert...
yeah its brand new ram, but it only seems to have happened after it was fitted, my old corsair xms 2 pro 8500 worked fine. I just wasnt sure if the dominator needed 2.4v to run on my P5wDH-deluxe. I have just got a new asus comando delivered this morn so will try it on that and see how it goes...
I have just purchased a 2gb kit of dominator 8500, however it will not allow my pc to post unless I set the ram voltage to 2.4v (using another stick of ram) and then restart pc with the dominator ram installed. Even when the voltage is up that high (the max my mobo will give) the pc will...
OK, im building a computer for an artist friend of mine. He specialises in high detail prints around 6' x 10'. He has asked me to build him a pc strictly for using photoshop cs2 and image manipulation software. His only requirement is it has to have 8gb ram.
Now heres where im stuck. Are...
