you need to connect that power cable if you have Elite Pro which comes with breakout box, that power connector provides power for breakout box but you don't have to connect it if you have lower card w/o breakout box
have you ever consider Auzentech Prelude? I have Elite Pro, Auzentech Prelude and X-Meridian and I know Xonar is using the same chipset C-Media as X-Meridian. I hate that fact that Creative is so bad on drivers so I have to tell you to stay away from Creative, Elite Pro comes with breakout box...
Please give me some advice on a good high-end PSU but quiet is the most important, I got Zippy PSU but that thing is loud :) especially during full-load haha! anyway I'm not worry about the price, just want to get something good and quiet, really need JonnyGuru on this one :) if you're still...
I think this thread should be locked, if you have some pictures of that clearance sales please post them otherwise this is BS! If I ever find any store selling at that price I'll buy all of them :)
I think the temps are good but if you think it's not good enough then I can tell you a thing when I look at your setup, it could have been better if you can get cool air to your rad but instead you'll get warm air to your rad since your rad mounted in the middle (sandwich type) so don't expect...
I have B3 Stepping and I had it 3.0Ghz @ 1.3V and 3.2Ghz @ 1.35V so 3.2Ghz is no problem if that all you want, I'm thinking of return B3 Stepping to Fry's and get G0 Stepping and hoping to get similar overclocking or maybe little better with lower temps :)
this has nothing to do with luck, I always try to use latest driver if that doesn't work out for you then try to use some previous drivers and if you think your monitor is to blame then call Costco to exchange another one, or try using another display that capable up to 1920x1080 and if that...
I have 37w3se model and I had Dell 24" that I previous used and swapped out for 37w3se w/o shut down my computer :) so it looks kinda weird at 1920x1200 so I restart my computer to let my system detect my new monitor, after loaded in the Windows then I go to Properties and adjust 1920x1080 and...
I don't know why it is so complicated to you guys to setup proper 1920x1080, just go to Properties and adjust it to 1920x1080 and click on Advance and set your refresh rate 60z, why do you even bother going to nVidia driver to set resolution, serious I hardly need to go to nVidia driver to setup...
DVI is much better than VGA, you don't need to adjust anything with DVI expect resolution :) of course, if you can afford $900 monitor then why not spend $16 to get high quality DVI cable and give it one more try to see if you like it or not then decide if you want to return and get Dell 30" or...
I'm wondering the same thing about darker color at the middle than the sides, is it the same in previous revision? this monitor is not what I expect to be, I will test with DVD player(HDMI) and then decide whether I want to keep it or not, I hope 1080p HDMI will impress me to keep this monitor
I think 37w3se produces blue-ish w/o adjusting, since lots of us had one of this at home now so maybe you guys can share your setting with us, I still keep my setting at default so hopefully I have time to adjust it soon
slightly increase on contrast ratio, do you notice a better black color? weak point of this monitor is black color ( look like gray) I hope slightly increase on contrast ratio improves on black color
it depends on the size of resolution not the size of the monitor, better encoding will do very good job with less grainy, you will find a bit grainy upgrade from 1280x1024 to 1920x1080 using the same xvid/divx files
