I appreciate all the help guys, i ended up going with the Gigabyte R929WF3-4GD, i felt like it was a better value even though the XFX had a better warranty. I have dealt with Gigabyte RMAS on my motherboard before, and honestly it was pretty painless. And the $30 MIR wasnt bad either LOL

When i go looking at cards i just feel overwhelmed by the selection.. it seems crazy how many there is.

Alright, little update. It worked fine once they were both plugged in. But im pretty sure the power supply isnt quite enough for it. It's a 470w power supply, but its only powering the mobo and one (1tb) hdd. it was working that thing pretty good, it didnt ever hang or anything but it was...

So, it has 2 power connectors on the end of it - do they both need to be plugged in? i went to a local shop here in town and they only had 1 adapter cable left and told me that they only ever plug one of them in, and not both. seemed kind of sketch to me.
