It's not the weight of the HS that's the issue... 120 is relatively light. It's just that once I tighten the HS to the MB (and it fits very nicely), it bends the MB concave a little... my question was if bending is really a problem or not. Thanks! -Jazz

Well... it still sounds like a tornado. Opening the case helped a lot... more access to cool outside air. So that means I'm going to install a fan in the front of the case to suck some cool air in. But it's still damn annoying... it's the one single thing spoiling my whole setup. My Setup...

Update: I installed the AMD "Cool'n'Quiet" driver on XP and the revving has slowed down considerably. But I'm wondering if this is the "real" solution... shouldn't something like "Cool'n'Quiet" be implemented in the hardware itself? Thanks! -Jazz
